Insurgency needs YOU!

I must say it's the first time I've seen this in a mod up until now. It seems as though Insurgency Mod is going to be adding some extra realism into their game by adopting some motion capture animations. This kind of detail is often used in retail games and high quality CG scenes in films

They'll be using a motion capture studio in Oakland, California and if anyone lives in that region, has military/tactical experience and is a fan of the mod, you can e-mail their player animator Tom Reyneri for more information.

The SourceBall guys have also used motion capture for their player models. Check out their recent animation demo videos, very impressive.

Motion capture is great stuff!

It does cost us money though, not going to say how much. We were able to get the studio for free, but we needed the operator. We wanna get some great animations, if you have military exp. and are in the area, please please please get on to Tom!
