So if I got this straight: He and several others did this specificly at Valve cause they where tired of waiting? Sick of delays?

He stole it BEFORE the delay was announced. HL2 information has been out for a VERY short time. Somehow what he said doesnt make sense. Why not steal Duke Nukem Forever instead, or Doom III :dozey:
And of course, taking the source makes no sense either if he just wanted the game.

Still, I wont trust anything to be real nowadays. I'm not even sure I'm on the real forum...
 
mens : Do valve a favour and ring them, give them his IP...if you dont you might aswell just kick Valve in the ****ing financial nuts, he needs to be stopped before he leaks the gold version.
 
I think this is rubbish. He said he didnt leak it and didnt want to so why would he be compiling a fullgame and releasing it ?
 
This is very worrying...I believe it, because hell, a week ago I wouldnt believe you if you said the beta was going to be leaked...but guess what...

The thign that majorly sucks now is that most of what you hear about hl2 is true now, valves office and works just been tipped into some guys hard-drive :(
 
Itll be interesting to see if it comes out thursday. See if this hacker is the real deal or if mens got had.

I't would be interesting to have a chat with him, get his story and version of the events...He doesn't seem to be such an awful person really...

my analysis: he's too stupid to realise what he's done, and is too young to have the foresight to predict what would happen. "i just wanted it for myself and a few friends" will not stand up as a defence in a court of law.

Your all noobs if you believe that, first of all if he gets caught his ass is going to jail and going to get sued like crazy. I highly doubt he would come out and admit it even if he was behind a proxy. Some dude was just bullshiting you and that is that. I read the nfo file and in it he said he wouldnt tell when he was going to release his releases.
 
He got sick of the delay.... but he hacked Valve at the 11th and the delay wasn't announced before the 23rd.... makes sense eh?

I hope this is all fake. After all, the (supposed) hacker said his (supposedly) previous post was fake. Thus meaning this Prg-Gold thing is non-sense. Perhaps this is some spin-off wannabe who's fixed some things. Either way, I hope they all go down. Getting extremely fed up with this. And I'm getting even angrier about people trying to justify it. Stop it!
