dont forget, there was that small nuke, then there were those huge 2 giant nukes that you see in HL1 rigged with tripmines everywhere... yeah that would take out black mesa

They just looked like Space-Rockets to me, and it makes sense. Why would the Military rig up two nuclear bombs with Tripmines that can be set off by anyone or anything, that are capable of destroying everything, when they're still in the base?! There's no chance to escape from a trigger system that entirely stupid. The big explosion you trigger in that warehouse is just what you get when you ignite lots of fuel with a tripmine explosion - big, but not nuke sized.

Also in the first area where you are attacked by Black Ops they have a bunch of missles.
