Id call it Natural climate change +/- our effects= potential disaster

Funny, my AP Physics teacher was just talking about this yesterday...

I can't explain what he said very well, but the main point was that nobody knows for sure.

One interesting fact I learned: Without all the airplanes we have flying around, about 13% more sunlight/heat would reach us... because the planes' gases blocks it out.

another fact for global warming

Sea levels are rising, climate change is upon us its so not natural. The ocean, volcanoes and stuff always have been producing greenhouse gases, why wasnt there global warming before we started destroying the earth. Magic?

Ps. u listen too much in general studies badger. :\. + recycling isnt to do with energy its to do with saving resources and reducing the load on landfill sites

Actually, CO2 levels were a lot higher in the past, and sometimes a lot lower. It's not like they were fixed before the 19th century. In the age of the dinosaurs, the earth was a lot warmer and according to ice samples, more CO2 rich.
Antarctica was once iceless and with a mild climate.

It's much too early to say anything about the main cause of the warming, for example, there's mounting evidence the solar cycles have something to do with warming. This last summer, you heard a lot of people yell that the greenhouse effect was the cause of the hot dry summer, but it had more to do with abnormal solar activity. There's so much we don't know about the earth, we thought the sun would peak at the end of it's 11 year cycle in activity, but that turned out to be wrong. It's silly to already say man is solely responsible for warming with burning some fossil fuels.

Global warming has in fact happened on a much larger scale and much more quickly in the past prior to human habitation from what we can gather. Sometime before the last ice age a massive collapse and landslide in the north Atlantic occurred releasing extraordinary amounts of methane (was kept in a solid state in the ocean floor: see fire ice) into the atmosphere and radically altering the climate of the world.
In addition, as someone mentioned we've only got good records going back to 1861. Thats a span of time so insignifigant in terms of the earth that its hardly worth mentioning.
I'm kind of playing devils advocate here, but to disregard other sides of an argument in moronic and insulting.

Global warming is real.
Now if we did it or its normal, its a different question in which I agree with Fat Tony.

El Ninõ is a natural thing, and this is what causes Global Warming...and Sun's spots maybe (dunno if this was said before but the top is four pages long so...)

El Nino doesn't cause global warming. It causes cyclical fluctuations in temperature for maybe a few years, but not a general long-term trend of higher temperatures. I think the last El Nino is already over.
