Who has had there account taken down?

Hands up?

I just had my account taken down, that would have been ok if i lots of copyrighted material on the account, but sadly, you can't disagree with Youtube, oh no, its impossible, its like talking to a brick wall.

Do you know what i had in my account? Movie/Game Trailers, some usermade content which had no bother, and a few YTMND's, which i had also no bother over.

But after time went on, i got a few copyright issues over some trailer, and I'm like, ok wtf, there only trailers...

But that got my account closed in the end up.

Share your youtube stories?

That was pretty badass Raz.

And I have not personally had any vids taken down , volume removed or an account banned (not having an account in the first place might have something to do with it) but it does get annoying when videos you want to watch have been removed or the volume removed and stuff.

No! No ratings or views for any of you, NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM AND MASTURBATE!

Well, I had no other story to post... so instead I posted that my only youtube video had 100,000 views.

I have no other youtube stories... I only have one video!

*cough*

There are 36 of those.

How dare they not let you put up trailers that you did not create that a person could find anywhere else easily.

Since I jumped to Youtube from Google Video I haven't had any good uploads or subscribers. And since Google and Youtube starting taking shit down its been hard to upload so I kinda gave up. Anyway this one edit I made was pretty good:

Advice on subscribers, add as many people to your account for friends, then share the videos with your friends, but chance the you friends with also have friends and seen them rating a video, the friend of the friend will see your video and rate it and possible become a subscriber and then become your friend.

Worked for me, its slow but works.

If you want to be a whore, yeah.

Youtube.... Dont mention Youtube near me. I had a great account. 120 suscribers and one of my videos had 390 000 views. But then those ****ing ****s closed it.

I have had two video taken down, both of which were from the Ed Sullivan Show.

Hey I've lost an account before and every vid I've put up has been pulled down at some point :(

Or you could make interesting videos.

i had a feeling this would happen, but never this sudden. they really are being ****y about it, there are a lot of videos (ie: ones that use a song clip or something like that) which dont deserve to be taken down but still are. of course google/youtube arent going to do shit about it.

Just upload good videos and people will watch. I have a vid with 100,000 viewers on one account, and some with 75k and 21k on another account.

If you're uploading trailers there are probably 100 other trailers that are exactly the same, so quit it.

Create multiple accounts and put the videos you think might have copyright issues on there instead, so your OK videos don't get deleted with it. If you have 30 seconds or less of a song in your video Youtube will let you keep it up even if the company put a copyright claim against it.

They muted one of my videos, but other than that, I really haven't had a problem. I mainly use Vimeo, though, now.

I wonder if they're still losing that much money with the extended efforts they've put into advertising as of late.

Also, Youtube sadly doesn't need a reason (much like similar websites or services) to shutdown your account. They're a corporate entity and don't really have to answer to anyone except possibly Google investors. In the meantime, stop posting barn sex videos and you might not get your accounts closed.
