Hello everybody, my 1st post here...

Oooo, throught that whole game i just wanted to tear apart that Dr Breen, i haven't finished the game yet but already had a meeting with Dr Breen during Anticitizen one and guess what...I KILLED THE SON OF B1TCH!! Oh and impaled him to the floor with some arrows hehe!

You really made sure he was dead eh? Anyone who you see on a tv screen is recorded from a small room like that.
 
I "crucified" a combine soldier with the crossbow, it's nifty.
 
Painkiller does the impaling of an arrow very well, anyone seen it?
 
You havent finished it once and you are already cheating...
I am prety sure that sucks the fun right out of the game
 
playing through for the 3rd or 4th time i just realized you could impale combine soldiers with the crossbow (i never used it before). i thought it was a pretty cool feature in painkiller. i find myself using the crossbow a lot now, i just wish it could hold more rounds and fire faster.

Rgr. Painkiller was a good game.
 
Yea its nice if you crouch down and get close while shooting them at an angle they are impailed and stuck to the wall.usualy off the ground if you angle.
 
oh, heres my little encounter with the g-man, he didn't say much, just stood the and stared at me. I tried an RPG at him, but no luck!

Nah, you didn't kill him. Breen is like Saddam and has countless body doubles all over the place.
 
Hmmm, a body double..? Interesting....possible.

That Damn G-man was waiting for me because he knows the future and knows my path. I knew its been debated but could be Freeman from the future...?
 
In parts of the game where Breen is talking on a screen, there is usually a small room like that outside the map. Look around with noclip. I've noticed it in several places.
 
Yeah, try spawning some zombies in the room with him. I did that in the first level (after killing Breen first), and there was a close-up of a zombie's hand on all the TV screens in the level, and you could hear the zombie mumbling noises. Kinda creepy.
 
Huh! That's kinda neat. I was sort of wondering how the videoscreens worked, figuring it was just animation. It's interesting that Breen actually sits in a little room delivering his lines, though. Cool find!
 
great isn't it! adds even more to the realism. ive just been goofing around with the SDK, it's got alot of potential but i've seen some disturbing pictures people are peoducing as a result of their twisted imagination.... :rolling:

Agreed. I didn't cheat until AFTER the game. I don't think it woulda been half as fun if I had cheated before-hand.

not for everyone. let people play how they wanna play...
 
yeah, some people like to start using cheatcodes as soon as they get a new game. i don't understand it, i think it spoils teh game, but i guess some people enjoy it.

Always wondered how to pin them to a ceiling though... does the crossbow have a limited impale range?
 
i don't know
i've pinned them from pretty far before. (See EVIL's screenshots)
but for those, i got right up in their face and crouched.
 
U can shoot he gman, i did it on the last level, i found him hiding cuz once u do the last part he shows up so hes loaded someehwere, and i found him while i was looking for the monster breen is talking to, and u can shoot and kill him, i blasted him with the shotgun

how do you get the cooler gravity gun from the last level, do you have to load the level then changelevel?
