At least then, we'll have something solid to talk about. Instead of people saying that they've lost interest and are leaving because of the delays and long wait.

But then again...will we really be visiting this site when Half-Life 2 is released. Or will we be playing it? Well, it's safe to say that we can talk about the game and anticipate it before we get to actually play it. And that's what's good about this site.

But, unfortunately, this thread will meet the inevitable *CLOSED*.

I hate to say it, but that makes 2 of us man. It's really sad for me actually. HL was the first game that I felt connected to. It was my first online game. It's like my big father of video games. My sheer joy when HL2 was announced was enough to keep me in video game heaven for years. But since they announced it, it's been a downhill roller coaster. It's sad when before your game even comes out, people are mad at you (Valve).
