I find it funny how he says that kids using their parents' credit card isn't verification of age. The parents are, by proxy, buying the game for the kids.

Further proof that Thompson's cognitive abilities do not exceed that of a tree.

And yes, if you buy a game with your parent's credit card, as long as they know and accept this, it is legal. Of course, if you steal your parent's credit card, then you should get the shit beat out of you.

That's why I asked. I sent an e-mail. Probably won't get a response, but I made it in a way to hopefully garner a response.
 
In the early days I got several replies from the guy. He would always argue that I needed something from a reputable source such as Harvard. When I pointed out Harvard had never released anything to aid either of our views he called me an idiot. To which I replied that he must also be an idiot if his reputable source for research didn't back him up. I think I was trying to push the numbers on him, something like school violence had actually decreased over period x. No matter how well written your message is you'll get a sarcastic/idiotic/poorly written reply.

At some point everyone is going to realize that all you have to do is ignore him and he'll go away.
 
I hope that he keeps this up, i really do. I hope that he gets sued, and after that i hope that he STILL keeps going and gets thrown in jail. The more idiotic that he makes himself look the better. he gives the whole anti game movement a bad reputation, which is great :P.

I wouldn't be so sure. Harassment can be a serious charge, combined with a history (and future) of mental intability, jail-time eventually wouldn't suprise me too much. What he agreed with Take Two is similar to a restraining order.
