What I love about this is that if Jack actually was able to win a case against Penny-Arcade because of this then I guarantee that many in the game industry would easily be able to sue Jack for the very same reason.

Hes called officials at the ESRB nazis IIRC.

I doubt he's even played any of the games he rants about. If he did he would have far different opinions. Maybe if he sees how different aiming a gun and using a joypad are. And as if that weren't the factor, what is? The AI of the cops? Yes, cops in real life act just like the ones in Vice City.

That's what I thought, I mean you can ask anyone who fired a gun in CS and a gun in real life- they'll all agree that it's a HUGE difference. I mean, in games you dont need to regard the recoil, the balance, the moral factor... You just aim and click.. Much easier.

Most hilarious thing abou the letter: HE GOT THE URL WRONG. Its Penny-Arcade.com for the record, not pennyarcade.com, which wasn't anything pleasent last time I checked.

And the funny thing is to 100% complete the game that isn't but saving peoples lives is and so is putting out fires. You can play the game for 100 hours and do tonnes of stuf without killing anyone.

And what is wrong with "I hate Jack Thompson" t-shirts? The man failed to donate a promised amount of $10,000 to charity. Breaking a promise to a charity seems like a vaild reason to hate Jack Thompson, therefore the t-shirt is perfectly fine.

jack is getting nuttier by the second or is he just being a shrewd lawyer? He's creating a paper trail by filing a complaint with the police should this or any other harrassment suit get to court he'll have stablished a pattern to harrassment ..I think he's choosing his words wisely because the cops wont do anything unless there's a physical threat but he can (try) to sue them incivil court for defamation of character (he'd lose)

Since forever. They are the variation of the same name. In Irish they are both Eoin which has been Anglisised into Owen. So therefor Owen=John aswell. Seán is also a transtalion of John which has been Anglisised into Shawn. Therefor Shawn=Owen. You learn something new everyday.
