Jesus Christ did not exist. Period.

Jesus as a man (if he did indeed exist as portrayed minus the God bits, and isn't just some bastardization of a lesser historical figure) deserved respect. However, countless things done in Jesus' name do not, and I think that on the whole that outweighs him as a person, even if he's not responsible for it. I respect Jesus, I don't really respect the religion he spawned.

Sulkdodds, don't diss Jesus for punching a horse; he was very wise for knowing to do so -- In those years, not many knew people that horses were evil -- and very courageous for doing so, since horses are very dangerous when provoked.
