Are you people honestly trying to get this thread locked, none of you has address anything from the speech. Bodacious, you still haven't read the speech (that or you don't comprehend it). Let me break it down for you, it talks about changing the rules when there is no reason to (I am yet to hear a good reason from any of you that hasn't been refuted), it talks about spending all the time on filibusters when there are much more important issues at hand that need to be addressed, it talks about what the job of a senator is, and it talks about stopping partisan attacks such as Delay saying the filibuster is an effort to "filibuster against the people of faith" (something a dipshit that can't come up with a good point would say). So I am still waiting for you to address a single line from that speech; maybe you should start at what I quoted if you truly are too lazy to read it or don't have the reading comprehension to understand it.
