According to previews/reviews, the lighthouse level is by far the shortest in the game. Heck, it took me around two hours to do the second mission.

Yeah, just started the bank - up to the rappel. I'm really liking the music this time round... in the other games it didn't seem to stand out so much, but it's rather smooth and jazzy in CT (especially the bank level).

Ditto, the music is used to better effect this time. I'm at the rappel too, fiddling about in between the lasers :p

Alright Im through with this I just fedex'ed them back their package and they said they aren't sending me anything until they get the xbox game back which will probably be at least monday. I'm through with this I'm getting a refund and I'm buying it in the store this is complete and total BULL and I will never deal with these guys again

I picked it up the 29th, and beat it the 31st. Great game. Co-op is almost unplayable. Everytime I try to access a server it won't allow me, and when I do, it disconnects me for no reason. But, I got a quick question. Do you guys keep the game in the drive when your done playing it, or do you take it out every time your done? I don't know if you leave it in if will scratch the disk, or mess up the lens. Anyone?

sounds like bs alright

i'm very near the end....in the bath house taking some mercs out with the sniper attachment

love that thing beyond words

edit: some screens i took

Amazing screenshots, Doppelgofer. I really want this. I might splurge, and go out and get it.

very nice, amazing graphics,

turn on the AA ?

I played SC1 and it was terrible, there was no fun in it.

This SC is supposed to be the best because it has non-linear levels and of course the knife. Of course I can't confirm this since gamestop messed up my order

Is the co-op as buggy as I'm hearing?

I haven't tried playing it yet, but I hear that the voices(between the two players) are a little bit buggy.

Co-op is really buggy right now. It's so hard just to get into a match, and when you do, it kicks you for no reason. Ubi really needs to release a patch. It's not even enjoyable. The people who tested Co-op need to get smacked, they passed up a ton of obvious bugs.

Obviously thats alot worse than I thought. :|

Holy shit. That sucks so hard. ;( Warez it. You paid for the game, but Gamestop ****ed up. :)

doppel, you said your near the end so is it very short?

I beat it in 3 days. There are 10 missions total, each taking a little longer than an hour. I played about 3 missions a day. All together, I would say I played about 12 hours of single player on hard. The AI get's tougher as you progress, and the last mission gets uber hard. The ending was a little disappointing though. And yea, I have Co-op patched and it still runs horrible.

its not short to be honest...i just have a habbit of speeding through games and i'm a long time splinter cell game player

i completled it at about 10 tonight....absolutley fantastic game...the levels just get better and better. coop though in my opinion, RIGHT at this moment in time, is quite broke

sometimes it works, sometimes it runs with a really bad fps, sometimes games don't connect, sometimes you get disconnected midgame...they REALLY need to sort it cos the actual short do i managed to have a proper go on the training level was really fun

anyhow, i recommend this game to you all...sam has a LOT more character in this one and they EVEN MAKE A DIG AT HALF-LIFE 2 AND GORDON

Doppelgofer, where do you find the pump on the second level?

Go into the room where the guy is grinding something. Kill him and look to the left. There is a crawlspace there.

Noooo! You gotta be kidding I was looking in that room for an hour...I must need glasses. Thanks, I'm off to go play again now...

Yea, this game rocked. I beat it in about 12 hours. I think it's the best in the series by far. I think I am going to play through it again, after I am settled in at school.

OMG! i just played the COOP for like 2 hours, its so awesome! Some parts of it arranging a take down with your team mate is awesome. The way you have to work togeather, one after another moving down corridors n stuff. And when you do the upsidde-down on a rope, mission impossible thing its just soo cool, snapping peoples necks n stuff.

There is a couple of bugz tho, my model turned into a stick man when a lighting problem occurred and me and my partener were behind 2 people ready to shhot them at the same time, i shot my dude, my parteners didnt die, we emptied like 2 magazines in him and he was still complaining about the lights.

I think someone needs to get their priorities right! :p

Why would doing that damage anything? :s

Who else spotted the reference to Gordon :p
I haven't yet, but I did find something else that was funny;

There's two guards in the Hokkaido mission talking about Ninjas, and one mentions how he saw one on an oil rig a number of years ago. An oil rig - sounds familliar, and can you guess who that Ninja was? ;)

Hmm i wonder if it was during the time of the Georgia incident ;)

The reference to Gordon Freeman is on the mission just after Hokkaido, cheeky bast**** :p

I just got this game today. I'm on the Displace level. I just interrogated an engineer near the start and he's like "Who're you?" and Sam replies "Harry Tuttle". Ahahahaha, that's the name of Robert De Niro's character in one of my favourite movies Brazil. Harry Tuttle was a CIA type person posing as a heating engineer.

Woooooot.

I'm kind of disappointed that there are so few levels though, only 10.
