Just ordered

oh look u just brough it up again. im done.(lol this is becoming silly, well atleast silly is better than hostile :) )

Before i put in the order for the PC65, does anyone have any good cases to reccommend me? Im want premodded and a simple case, no server cases.

sorta off topic but i want to know pples choices..

does everyone here go with mid-towers? or full-towers?

im upgrading in October and was wondering about what size to get..
the obvious benefit i see from purchasing a full-tower would be better air circulation and that would probably result in better cooling of the inside..

so tell me what size towers u guys own and what do u reccommend in size?

Definitly get a mid tower.....full towers are for servers and they are HUGE. Way too tall.

It's also not nice to open your stupid mouth when you know shit about what your saying. I have a job, and make money. I payed for the computer myself. Unlike your dumb ass, who sits at home with no friends or girlfriends, and reads these forums all day, flaming people you think your smarter than only to later find out they would "pwn" you in any subject in life. So before you go running your smart ass mouth next time thinking your the big shit, just remember I'm always two steps in front of your pathetic ass.

Well i shouldnt think so....Just get a mid tower that supports 3+ fans and you will be great..

The Chieftec Dragons are awesome cases, i have a black one. If you get one of them make sure you dont get a chieftec PSU. The dragon has 2 front fans and 2 back fans. You can also get the option of a side fan. Very good case.

They have lots at www.tigerdirect.com

I own a midtower and a fulltower.
Fulltower (4 fans) only has 1 intake while the Midtower (4 fans) has 2.
Obviously either can be modded to have another on the side or possibly front. Most lian li,kingwin type cases are good (2 in, 2 out).
I like both of my cases, of course leave the fulltower at home while the midtower I can move around to friends house or where ever easily.

PSU = power supply right?

also... i have been to sites that have offer cases that some kinda water cooling systems.. first time i ever seen those..

i was told by a friend that those really don't do their job that well.

Thermaltake

Frozen CPU

Xenocide

either of these sites have any decent cases?

edit: Asus, i just read ur post... what do u mean by

only has 1 intake

and

(2 in, 2 out).

thanks for the help in advance

Im gonna go cry now....

You have scarred me for life.

Just my Fulltower has 1 fan on the front pulling air in and 3 fans on the back blowing air out.
While my Midtower has 2 fans sucking air in and 2 fans blowing air out in the back.
thats all
Best to have stable air pressure. Dont want low(too many fans in the back) or high (not enough fans in the back or too many in front) presure in your case. Not always a good idea to have tons of fans either.

Ok, some stuff just arrived at work. Not all though, it was 7 seperate orders. Ill start building later.

Well thats what im using for my P4 setup. I wont be building that until my Lian li arrives though. TT, antec, and enermax have the best PSU's IMO.

i know antec does. thanks for the reassurance on thermaltake though.

You must be new to computer cases then, here is a picture for the nublets.

Ew those cases are ugly ass nasty. I love my Xaser III. :)

so i guess nobody bothered looking at the Thermaltake and FrozenCPU sites..

are they not good? or just not as good as other ones?

FrozenCPU and Xoxide are the #1 PC modding sights. They have a good selection of some hott cases, but i would reccommend newegg since they pretty much have everything for cheaper.

Nasa....

China... (supercomputer being built with AMD 64's)

:p

Ok, everything got here today, except my lian li, tomorrow. Ill start building tomorrow after i pick up an anti static wrist strap.

Xaser cases are just ugly as shit in my opinion. There are a couple things that just ruin a case in my opinion:

Viewing Windows, maybe some people think they are cool, but quite frankly they are flamboyant. Who wants to look at the inside of their computer, it makes no sense. Maybe if you want to point out your 9800 pro to your buddy, but other than that they are useless and ugly.

LED lights inside of computers (in conjunction with a viewing window). This is like putting neon lights under your car, they might impress a ten year old or the teenage hip hop fan, but they are just annoying.

Excess. Xaser is the perfect example of this. Crap hanging out of every orifice, blinking flashing, telling you that your fans are working and sporting multiple doors, hinges, handles, and locks.

Of course everyone has different tastes.........

I think some of that stuff can be cool in moderation......

But I look at it being the same as people putting 4" exhuast and 8ft wings on there hondas.....

Most of the time people over do it....they always think more is better.

YAY MY COMPUTER GETS HERE ON FRIDAY.

we should have a 'my computer is here' club. ahhh it will own. i cannot wait. me and guinny have the same case :D

My case is teh pwnz0rz. It ain't ugly, it's a gorgeous 100% aluminum piece of beauty. It's strong, sexy, huge, and full of features. Great cooling too with those 7 80mm fans in there. Those who think it's gay are just jealous.
