If it runs choppy for you, download the bink player and run it using DirectDraw. It plays much smoother on my 1GHz computer that way.

I did all the things you told me to do.. when I save as after I edit the file.. i put it in my documents as gcache.gfc then put it in my hl2 media folder where the old one was.. it said that i needed to dl a new cache file.. >.<

Hmm... So I edited out the the cache with Hex.... And when I run steam, it says "The game is unavailable at this time..." Or something like that. Fortunately I backed up the cache, and when I run steam with the old gcache, it works fine, only that I can only watch g-man and Docks.

The gcache for me is about 409MB.... What is everyone's gcache size?

Please someone help me, I cannot copy over hl2-g-man.exe with hl2-kleiners_lab.exe because they are not the same length. Do I have to copy and past the hex, or the actual type. Please help I'm desperate!
