KopBusters Catches Corrupt Cops

They have a lot of work to do.

Reality show?
Pffft who's really bent?

Anyone who starts a show with the title "KopBusters" gets an immediate score of -30 on a scale of 1-10.

This guy is a turd, who cares little about the public, and most about himself. Why doesn't he turn those cameras on the guys who are the drug dealers, cop killers, and other scumbags to show them what police officers have to deal with. Then show na?ve kids who never stepped out of their mothers house being an armchair quarterback, questioning "why couldn't they shoot the gun out of his hands, like in the movies."

Sure there are guys who should not have ever gotten a badge and a gun in the first place, but their number is a fraction of the force. However, unlike firemen, the public only deals with police officers on negative terms :tickets, arrests, fights - so their opinion is a little off and there are a lot of misconceptions. Add to that the countless movies of corrupt cops and the inflammation made by the media whenever there is a police incident (such as Sean bell and the Greece incident), and you have a general hatred towards cops.

Except that there is a woman serving 8 years in prison who could very well be a victim of these corrupt cops that planted drugs on her. I'm not understanding why you think these corrupt cops should be left alone simply because there are other bad people out there.

This story is absolutely awesome, I hope more people start to do this.

Yeah, but firemen have it hard. It's a lot more difficult to rape someone in a burning building.

Difficult, but not impossible.

if you watch his video on how not to incriminate yourself, you could argue, successfully, that he does care about the public

that's what America's most wanted, or Cops or any number of reality shows already do .....are you saying that the police are beyond reproach? that this shouldnt be aired because police are only noble and upstanding citizens willingly giving their lives for our protection?

Then show na?ve kids who never stepped out of their mothers house being an armchair quarterback, questioning "why couldn't they shoot the gun out of his hands, like in the movies."

this is different than people blindly accepting anyone in authority at face value? it's because we take these people at face value that their crimes often go unpunished

Sure there are guys who should not have ever gotten a badge and a gun in the first place, but their number is a fraction of the force.

I think you're being overly generous with the word "fraction"

well that's the nature of the job ..do you really except police officers to go door to door and give out cookies? yes most people see cops in negative terms because in almost every single instance, it's a negative scenario

"oh look the police officer is heading towards my door, he must have good news to deliver"

"sorry maam, your entire family was killed in a skiing accident"

"omg I'll never trust cops again"

also I dont think there's a single person here who at one time or another hasnt witnessed a police officer abusing his authority ..in my experiences this is the norm, not the exception to the rule ..the job of police officer attracts a type of person who might not be the best candidate for an authority role

Add to that the countless movies of corrupt cops and the inflammation made by the media whenever there is a police incident (such as Sean bell and the Greece incident), and you have a general hatred towards cops.

well, it's not like we dont have reasons ...and I think hate is too strong ..."distrust" or "dislike" is more fitting

It's great that this guy is going after corrupt police. For those who don't know he isn't going after police doing their job. He is going after the cops that lie to get search warrants. He used to be a narcotics officer so he knows every trick cops can abuse to use the system in their favor, because he used to do it himself. This guy is doing a great job at pointing out how overboard the drug war has become. It has gotten to the point of ruining normal citizens lives over something that is less harmful than the food most Americans eat.
