I am so confused... ...I have bought HL2, it has been beta tested. It has been reviewed. Apparently I also have it on my PC in an encrypted format. But I am not allowed to play it? :( Help me, what am I missing here?

All I can say is "Let this crowbar be our symbol of resistance"

Yeah... sorry to spoil all the fun but what can you do? NOTHING! I am attracted to your aim but it is simply unattainable (which is getting the game out sooner, I presume).

in reality, (real answer) what you really did is "preorder" half life 2, which is being tested by vivendi universal (valve's publisher) for release, judging from the source game, the game has major problems in certain hardware/software combo's, and if valve put in anything that could get vivendi in trouble (pornography, banned words or symbols), that all must be redone....


so basicly the game is having its finishing touches put on, it should be available within a month...

I thought we "pre-purchased" HL2 (assuming we bought bronze/silver/gold) and not "pre-ordered".
