Nice! Did you order the 32" from that one site you told me about when i was looking for a tv? Looks great.
Actually, no. Sears was having a nice sale on it for $700. The specs are great.

It is by far an awesome TV.

Why are you using composite cables in that picture? That is a large waste of your TV's capabilities! Component is a minimum, with DVI being recommended.

I'm sorry I couldent help but notice.

I have a 19" flat screen cicero CRT. Decent size and specs for cheap FTW!

I have a friend who has one of those huge 150" projecter screens and a HD projecter in her basement. Damn, I'd long to play HL2 or NFS:MW in all it's 150" glory. Pity she doesn't game, what a waste to have such a beautiful setup and not use it for it's one true purpose :(

Funny you say that. I was going to Best Buy today to purchase the cables.

We got that for Christmas, and I haven't got around to getting the new cables. No where in my area sells decent quality component cables. I am not even sure if my DVD player has DVI outputs.

I will never go back to crt NEVER!

You'll end up eating those words. Sony is making a CRT that will blow the LCD and Plasma TV's out of the water.

There's several already here. Check out the Sony Multiscan G500 21"... or the king... the 24" GDM-FW900:

*warning* You'll probably have to zoom in.

That might not beat a plasma but it's damn good..

I will never ever go back to CRT's - especially with OLED technology coming in the near future.

OK, look, people need to learn this. As bulky and uncool as they are, CRT > LCDs. Faster response time (no ghosting!), higher pixel density, better picture, more sharp... except for their size, they are far better. Now, OLEDs, and all that stuff... I'm betting those will take the cake. But until then, my 19" Flatscreen Dell Trinitron will get all my love.

Ghosting? Whats that..i see no Ghosting you talk about with my LCD because it isn't cheap and tacky

I use this http://www.benq.co.uk/Products/LCD/index.cfm?product=485, its beautiful, sleek, 100 times clearer than my old 19" CRT and it won't degrade in picture quality over time like CRT's do.

I can also agree with you there, not because I have a TFT, therefore I must be a TFT fanboy, but because what JNightshade said is now a myth. Old LCD screens did that, and I'm not going to argue because I agree that they were really poor. But now LCD technology is getting really good, and a lot of people don't realise how good it is. My mate got a new Viewsonic 19" TFT with 4ms apparent response, and its the true nads. I think the CRT is better than TFTs at representing blacks, but everything else they fail in IMO, from clarity, brightness, colour, to the obvious things that we forget we want like looks and space :)

I could never go back to CRT again. I remember my eyes started bleeding after I sat for one hour in front of a CRT monitor. Agh!

And I don't care about the ghosting on my two LCD monitors, it doesn't bother me one bit when I'm playing a game.

Also, Shamrock is right, please go back to your old name or make a new one. Your current one sucks.

Not if you get a good lcd.

I'm sure quality crt's probably have slightly better image quality than decent lcd screens, but i have to say that i am very impressed with the clarity and quality of picture on mine, plus it looks far nicer and makes for a tidier setup. And as for the ghosting issue, it's a non-point now as nearly every lcd screen out there had a good enough response time to negate the possibility of ghosting. I have used 3 different lcd screens extensively (belonging to brothers) and none of them have displayed even a trace of ghosting, so i think it's time that the "ghosting argument" was dropped.
