Not as structured as your traditional martial arts. Picture agressive forms of the roles in aikido.

If your intressted in Self defense with wepons my advice is you try out Eskrima. There you won't just defend at redicules situations, but you learn to fight with knifes.

I tried both and eskrima is the one I stuck with. Not to say Krav maga is bad, but they are full of themself. To confident that their fancy Krav maga moves will take down anything. Can you belive they sell their class with: A Krav maga user have never been defeted.

Krav Maga isn't self defence, it's lethal combat. If you lose a fight, you don't live to talk about it.

Of course, the students must lose some fights.

Krav maga is thought as a self defense thou.

But my point wasn't to nitpick about that detail. It's just that many krav maga artists are over confident. Thats why I didn't really stick with it. I still train stuff from from krav maga, just not from krav maga lessons. But i might take some more lessons. They have alot of good stuff.

Krav Maga isn't self defence, it's lethal combat.

and any martial arts can be seen as Lethal Combat if the person is willing to make that decision to take another life in a fight

I train mma, valletudo. It's an exellent way of self denfence. The BJJ guy who was world champion teaches good take downs and submissons. And the old olympic wrestler got some great wresteling moves.
Im probably in one of the best swedish club there is.

Over here mate, if ya happen to find yourself in a donnybrook you're looking to have a large number of people on ya within a short space of time and you'll find they not only come after you but after the ones you're with as well. Having one discipline in the rear of mind is the best way in tackling a crowd.

I'd not really like to rely on a group of forms to defend myself when there's a dustup, that being said i've never tried MMA, only sparred with a those who have trained so i can't really comment. Forgive my ignorance.
