Hi again everyone, its me, I did that HL2 jail scene remember? lol

Well, here I am again with another big project, its a little clothes store, at some street corner. I started about a week ago and I'm almost finished.

I'm almost done texturing, and for the modelling I just need to put some parking poles (dont know what thats called cuz we dont have any where I live...), a couple of trees and some plants in the vases at the front door. I know there's a missing texture on the right bottom where a block is entirely yellow, its already fixed. As for the sidewalk, I'll fix that later on... For now, I have to put a sky and those empty spaces on the sides of the pic will be covered later on.

I'll post all my progress from the beginning on further posts, thx for all comments!!!!!

Coming along well. Is that the paint job on the building or have you not textured that yet?

The purple, red and all other vibrant colors are not textured yet, the bottom floor is completely textured

This looks awesome! Can't wait to see the finished version

Hey again, thx for the comments everyone!!! I'm gonna post my progress here now. It shows from the early beginnings of the project, from when I started a week ago, I'll finish texturing it probably tomorrow cuz I won't have too much time today.

For the progress, the camera angles and objects sizes can vary a lot cuz I had to scale them up/down to look more real and things like that.

Here are some more pics of the progress, couldn't upload more than 5 files at once...

After number 10 I started texturing and I am at the first post's pic.

nice to see the progress :) how long have you been working on it? (in hours)

Total of 16 hours until now... Don't know if that's fast or slow but I'm doin' it at my own pace, by staring at it for a while then finding misplaced textures, bad modelling and such, then going back, fixing it and so on.

thats looking very nice indeed. Though you shouldn't just use the GI to get away with lighting it properly. I want to see proper work and thought put into the lighting for the final pic :p

That work is inspiring. This is the type of fun stuff I hope to get involved with in my studies.

This lighting I use just for the progress, the final pic is going to have more elaborated lighting, this is just for progress. Thx everyone again for the compliments.

Hey again, I'm almost done texturing, just need to make the road name thing on the lamp post and put in the trees and parking spots!! the final pic will have much better lighting, don't worry everyone!!!

Its nice, don't forget to put in some windows :)

Oh don't worry bout that, y'all gonna see that the final pic will have something there! =D

ok, after a long time, here's another update, I just put in a sky with a gradient ramp, textured everything, now I just need to put another light post on the left side and some trees, then its done!!!

I chose this resolution cuz I'll write some stuff on the bottom, also, the top yellow tower will be a little taller, don't mind the little mistakes like the center window in which yu can see the sky on the back, that is already fixed on the next update!!!! Lighting will be modified also.

ok, after some time without working on it, I'm back!! lol

now, I fixed some stuff here, added a sunlight to make some shadows and such, fixed the yellow tower cuz it was too stretched, made the sky lighter on the bottom with a gradient ramp and fixed some minor bugs that were almost invisible (but I keep seeing them and that annoys me lol).

Now just a couple of trees and its ready!!!!

Very l33T lol... you should apply for a job doing that

lol I'm really thinking about that, thx man. My friend's dad has a construction company and i think he needs someone to do outdoors for him with houses...

Now for another round of updates, added some plants to the scene, now there's only one more thing to do then it's ready!!!! I won't tell what it is lol, wait for the next update!!!!!
