Just had a earthquake, only lasted about 15 seconds awesome nonetheless....

my dad was on the toilet and screamed "WHAT THE ****?!?!"

highlight of my week.

Should have yelled back to him to try to hold in those gaseous fumes lest he bring the whole world down.

now what would really suck is if a tsunami was generated and wiped you out and we never hear from you again.

I originally thought my cat had just got under my chair and started purring. but no...turns out the GROUND ****ING UNDERNEATH DECIDED TOO SHIFT.

Never been in an earthquake. They're pretty rare around here. Last one i know about happened about 18 years ago within a few hours of me?

All of Melb felt it...
Will be good to see what it really is.

Curious to know what it came up as on the Richter scale.

Gaahaha... course language makes any situation funny.

"WHAT THE **** MATE"

You forgot the 'mate'

'Crikey!'

Last earthquake I felt was the one that hit the UK last year, somewhere up north, I was down in the south west and my bed shook around quite roughly.

I was gay for 5 seconds.

I was in the only room in the house with really bad stumping, thought it was just the house being stupid- then had all my mates asking me on MSN if I had felt it as well.

I lol'd. Your dad was on the toilet. Where was this?

in my house. I was in the computer room.

when I asked him what he did, he said he shit himself. I lol'd.

I felt it too. I was playing TF2 at the time, it got me killed!

I meant...whereabouts in the world. But Computer Room is fine also.

Oh wait Australia. Good job me.

I lol'd heartily at this comical situation.

I have never felt an Earth Quake but in Buffalo the fault line that made Niagara Falls what it is today is pretty damn big. I live about 2 miles from that fault line and I'd probably die if an Earthquake shoot my house

Lol! the earthquake originated in the south east suburbs, i live in the south east suburbs :p i was in bed at the time up stairs and i felt the second story wobble i woke up and i was like wtf? it felt like a bulldozer was knocking down my house. Any other aussies in this thread from the south east suburbs?

P.S I have been lurking the forums for years just decided to join because i saw this thread :p
