look what happened when...

well said, chimpy, well said. you too alpha... for the most part ;-)

Planet Half-Life.
Those guys are teh su><orz.
No, there ok but I hate the anti-Valve/anti-Steam attitude so many of them have. And they always bash other HL2 sites.

It's quite funny.

Beags isn't actually supposed to be shooting for the HL community. He does the job he was appointed to do, which is moderate the forums you post in. He isn't meant to be up at every minute and hour of the day, looking for "uber kewl HL2 footage", and exploring other fansites, thinking why they might be better than PHL.

Beags also doesn't give a crap about you, I imagine. He's seen off fiercer dogs in his time than you. For the record, we don't have an anti-Valve stance, either, it's mostly just anti-Steam.

If he doesn't care then why is he here and the fact he is being paid to do it is even worse. If he's not into HL then it's questionable that he should be moderateing a HL forum.

Now then as your beloved leader does not give a crap about us you can piss off.

antidisestablishmentarianism isn't the longest word, the longest word is a lung disease if I remember correctly.

This guy seriously has a few problems. Does he kill someone if the ysay he has a big nose? He was just overreacting don't worry, DreamThrall.

Someone in AS level english in my sixth form here looked that up a while ago. It was a competition to find the longest word...

Not sure if he won though........

Antidisestablishmentarianism; technically I have won since I spelled it correctly. And it is not the longest word - I'll have to find that English book of mine.....meh.

pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the word. a lung disease.

This word is a Tryptophan synthetase A protein, an enzyme that has 267 amino acids, and makes a record of 1,909 letters. It is the term for the formula C1289H2051N343O375S8. It has actually been printed in various publications. I guess those reporters weren't paid by the word.

But....some will argue that scientific words shouldn't exactly count, since they are just working words really, describing molecules & such and not having much to do with the living language.

So, here's just one site that comes up in a Google search for 'longest word [in] English," an English forum of all things (with some pretty witty characters I might add, might have to visit their main page):
