Looks like somebody just shit in the X360's cereal... BONGGGG!!

And mods is all good and fun, until some 360 fanboy or just some bored person decides to try to use mods to sneak in a program that steals peoples PSN passwords etc..
I mean, unless they come up with antivirus scanners for PS3 that is, and 360.

I can fully understand why the 360 isnt allowing mods currently, and I think it might in the future, and that it then will probably not be something you can just go and upload, but rather that files will be 'moderated' by either the developer or Microsoft themselves.

Heh, yeah, that's what we need: Lots of opponents with autoaim! :D

Well if you have a bad computer, then it's understandable... But if you have a good computer, it's silly to get the console version.

I don't really see how it's silly to get the console version even if you have a good computer. It all depends on what platform you prefer to play it on.

You will get better graphics on the PC version (higher screen res and higher res textures and more effects, etc), no doubt about it. Even Mark Rein says the same thing that you will always get a better experience graphically on the PC because you don't have the constraints of the console.

True but not everyone care if they get more hi-res textures or effects for the PC compared to the console version. Some might prefer a good experience with a solid framerate, like me, over graphical enhancements while others prefer the latter. It all depends on your taste.

And I take everything Mark Rein says with a grain of salt.

You can do wonders with UT script. Taking your post seriously no console auto aim is made of fail and loose. I would like to see a PS3 user out snipe me, it just isn't going to happen.

I would like to see a PS3 user out snipe me, it just isn't going to happen.

And this is why console users against PC users just isn't going to work. So thus, the PS3 having the capabilities (which the 360 has anyway, Games for Windows) is no real big deal, and the only benefit is going to be of PC users looking for some easy kills.

wow a lot of PS3 hating over here, now if the PS3 is giving you the "option" (not mandatory) to play against PC gamers, the "option" to use a standard mouse and keyboard, and is allowing mods. Now it turns out this is crappy?, wow, no winning for PS3 regardless of what it does I guess... lol

No, read back through my posts in this thread again. This could of happened for any console (which it already has, playing PC users anyway) and I still wouldn't of agreed with it, just like I don't agree with it for the 360, this is no way me trying to be snide at the PS3 and the PS3 alone, I just don't see what the big deal is.

Sure, you can get the M&K and play against PC users, but to me, I don't see what's so fantastic about that, as theres going to be no way of to distinguish who a PC user is and who a PS3 user is. Yes, it's a cheaper alternative to buying a PC, but it's not like this is new technology as it's already been done.

Like I've said, this arguement is going to be one sided towards my own bias as I don't like Unreal, but it's my opinion and that's my two cents. Tne modding part is therefore not going to appeal to me either, but I'll admit it's a step forward, it's just the OP big'd up the whole 'PS3 vs PC' thing more.

as theres going to be no way of to distinguish who a PC user is and who a PS3 user is

Assumption is the mother of all **** ups you know that right? One little icon in the scoreboard could show who is a console user and who isn't.

The console users will the the ones looking at the ground. I think it'll be pretty damn obvious and somehow I don't see too many console users who will take up the option. Then again it's just that an option and it still gets flamed. As for the whole mods thing you'd have to find one hell of a bug in UTs programming itself within UT script to be able to get outside of the program, good luck with that one.

MS is not trying to protect it's customers they are simply trying to keep a stranglehold on what can and cannot use it's online service.

I might get this on PS3 you can use keyboard and mouse!

Then why not just get it for the PC? I'll bet mouse adjustments are non-existent. That is something that bothers me about the PS3 and 360. Can you adjust mouse sensitivity? I mean, the game has to have a menu for it, and if they don't think many people will be using a mouse for a game, they might not create the menu to adjust it.

Anyone know anything?

The console users will the the ones looking at the ground.
that made me laugh
:)

This is pretty nifty, I think. I'm not a fanboy of PS3 because I think so. or a 360 hater, it's just this looks nifty. It's something I'd enjoy, and I wish I would have a PS3 TO enjoy it :(
