Lost Season 4

I hope Jack gets properly bitch-slapped this season.

I have never understood why everybody hates Jack so much.

I have never understood why everybody hates Jack so much.

Because he's assy.

I don't hate Jack per se. There are times when I can sympathize and like his character. And I think the show definitely needs him as an anchor. But like last season, when he brought Juliette along. Everybody was suspicious. More importantly, everybody had a good reason to be suspicious. But there's Jack, treating her like a buddy, alienating the rest of the survivors, giving people shit when they protest. All that secrecy was needless, but at the very least he could have been more understanding of everybody's concerns instead of stonewalling like a prick.

Sawyer is the best character, or James if you will, his wise cracks in season 2 always made me lol, the one, 'what you gonna do? Beam us up?' when they were about to enter the other half's bunker had me laughing for hours.

S'all about Sayid and Desmond. Actually, to be fair, I love all the characters. Except Clair and Sun, I've never liked their stories so much.

Lot of people disliked Charlie and his flashbacks but personally I really enjoyed him as a character.

His death was one of the more hard hitting deaths I reckon, although by the new trailer who knows what the ****s going on with that. Still, the scene was damned sad.

I haven't watched a single episode of Lost. The show is everywhere but I just can't get into it

Jack is the best character on the show. He can be an ass, but that doesn't stop him being the most endearing, well written and acted of the characters. Matthew Fox is a really fantastic actor.

Im just looking foward to explanations on:

The seemingly immortal russian dude. "aneurysm? HA. Harpoon? HA. Grenade? Get the **** out of my office".

Richard

And that Four-toed statue :O

"Oh look, its three men and a baby....

....I was counting Hurley as two"

And that Four-toed statue

Somebody chiseled the fifth one off ;)

Nonsense. Its obvious the island used to be populated by a magical race of four-toed humans who in reality weren't all that magical, they just happened to have four toes.

I really think Orchid will play an even more important role than the Swan.

Ben: "We're waiting for you Jack... in the TEST CHAMBER..."

Orchid will be very interesting for me, have you seen that orientation video?

Yup.

My guess is, the bunny scheme can be similiar to the virus in Martian Gothic: Unification. Mind you, I didn't play it, only read every single thing about it :)

EDIT: Man, it's getting better and better. I hope they will tie up each and every single loose end by the end of the sixth season. Also, what is it with the survivors never getting any reading material from the Dharma stations to study? God dammit, Locke decided to play chess instead of looking for manuals in the Flame.

MEGA SPOILER FOR SEASON 4 BELOW
Jack and Claire will find out they are brother and sister

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
cannot wait
and it takes alot for me to say that :p

Yeah with the writer's strike, there's rumors of this season only being 8 episodes long. So don't expect anything spectacular.

Lost is usally always spectacular, give or take one or two episodes and a few pacing issues. 8 episodes is crap but at least I know they'll be kick ass episodes.

Only eight episodes have been recorded, and those will aire in the spring, starting on January 31st. They're bound to have high ratings, though, as Lost will be one of the very few shows to have new episodes.

Orientation video for the Orchid, for those of you who haven't seen it:

time travel?

man... i am sooo watching all 3 seasons again starting this weekend! :p

I think that these "rescuers" are from Hanso Foundation or other organization and their primary objective is retrieve DHARMA projects and research of the Island.

That's a possibly, I was thinking that as well.

I think that's the most common theory, although we don't know for sure.

Retrieving DHARMA projects is pretty likely, and I can also see them "exploiting" the Island in ways it shouldn't be. The people we see in Season 4 are obviously only going to be a small expedition team though.

OH... MY... GOD!!
Just saw those trailers and I'm soooo excited!! Jan 31st can't come soon enough!
<3 LOST

Another hugely drawn out season where they make it up as they go along, and nothing gets done. /sigh

The second part of season 3 had the same quality as season 1, so I'm very hopeful for the future.
