I am pleased to announce that registered recruits can now log in and download your personalized Volunteer Assessment Dossier outlining your full test results as well as your position within the Dharma Initiative.

I want to personally congratulate you on behalf of everyone at the Dharma Initiative for your hard work and diligence during our testing process.

We hope that you are happy with your results. We certainly are. The tests were extremely challenging and the aptitude and excellence displayed far exceeded our expectations.

Now that you are in possession of your results I am sure you are asking the obvious question: what's next?

Our plan was that together we would commence a glorious adventure: the revival of the Dharma Initiative using the myriad talents of all our amazing new recruits. We imagined not just fulfilling long abandoned goals but taking the Dharma Initiative to a new level of greatness as an organization promoting the peaceful social and technological advancement of all humankind.

Then the financial crisis struck.

Sadly, our benefactors were not immune to this crisis. In fact, unconfirmed reports suggest that much of the money designated for the work of the new Dharma Initiative was tied up in highly leveraged mortgage derivatives. This, however, cannot be confirmed because, I am sorry to report, the principals representing the benefactors - my employers - have gone missing. Based on bills still coming into our office we believe they are somewhere in South America.

This stunning reversal of fortune has forced us to abandon our ambitious plans. In fact, absent this funding, the Dharma Initiative was forced to make the only sensible decision we had available: we sold the Dharma Initiative to the television show LOST.

While this might strike some of you as a shock, the reason for this was not simply that they were the only bidder. As the only remaining Dharma Initiative employee who had not fled the country, I felt that at the very least the show would be able to keep the spirit of the Dharma Initiative alive and in the public consciousness until such time as a reversal of the reversal of our economic fortunes occurs.

It is with a heavy heart that I must bid you farewell. Despite my fervent commitment to the mission of the Dharma Initiative, the realities of a broken marriage, heavy casino debt and some unfounded police charges have required that I change my present circumstances. It is with great excitement that I can inform you of my pending senior sales management job at a large multi-brand auto dealership in Dubai. I have enjoyed our brief association more than I can ever express, and if you are ever in the Middle East and need a car, please e-mail me for a special "Dharma rate".

In the meantime, you will hear shortly from LOST showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. They will explain to you their future plans for the Dharma Initiative and how these plans might affect you.

Thank you again, personally, for your unflagging commitment and support. I hope our paths will one day cross again. In the meantime may the spirit of the island guide you.

Well I do many things such as
Locke coming to Walt, Jack and even Hugo off the island. I also know that Abbadon was possibly shot by Sayid and when Locke goes off the island, he is back in a wheelchair. Plus the island goes back to the 1970's and events on the island reset. So the natives are back and the DHARMA members. That person that pointed the gun at Faraday? That was the guy that was with Desmond in the hatch.
It's all on lost-media. Oh and we will see Keamy again! Some theorize a new character casted could be the young girl that was with Ben when he was a kid as well.

The Island is not sent back to the 1970's and events on the Island do not 'reset' so smoothly. All of the spoilers hool listed are set reports available on the likes of DARKUFO and lostpedia - they are by no means 'secrets' when they are a click away on google. That said, the rest of the stuff he said is kind of true.
 
Well here I go again but I thought it would make sense Samon. They will explain how Rousseau got to the island with more info on the Black Rock. They said it wasn't exactly a flashback per say so it makes sense if events on the island reset. They had that one DHARMA guy cutting down the same tree over and over like it was resetting itself. Claire also will not show up in Season 5 as a main character as well. OCTOBER 28,2008~Hurley is relaxing on the hospital grounds, sitting on a bench and painting, when Locke arrives. LOCKE IS IN A WHEELCHAIR with a cast on his right leg, rolling himself up to Hurleys side. They have a conversation. Locke eventually gestures over his shoulder at Abbadon. At this point, Hurley jumps up distressed saying that Abbadon is evil. Susie, the orderly, takes Hurley by the arm back into the hospital, leaving Locke behind. Later Locke and Abbadon are at a cemetary viewing someone's headstone. While preparing to leave, Abaddon is shot in the chest. Later, Locke is involved in a car accident.

They even say that Charlotte had a nosebleed in the trailer suggesting that she is going through a time warp or she is a DHARMA member herself! Forget about spoiler tags IMO at this point.

I've read alot of different shit about season 5 already so I don't really care but im sure there are some people reading the thread who are gonna be a bit "WTF" when they see you're post.

That doesn't mean it goes back in time to a specific period - certainly not the 1970's, and Danielle's freighter didn't even crash until the late 80's, and the Black Rock way back in the 18th century. Whilst the Island will go back in time, I'm pretty sure it'll either be A: the late 80's or B: it will 'flicker' through time, and we will experience a variety of events.
 
There's a guy in my art studio in college who believes everything in Lost is real and that the Hanso Foundation is a real organization.

He has a piece of paper pinned up in his studio cubicle which says ''God loves you as He loved Jacob'' which is fantastic. :LOL:

Well I imagine that the original inhabitants who decide to wage war on the intruders to their empire with flaming arrows. I think that period happens with DHARMA coming back. IDK what will happen in Season 5 but it will be epic.
 
I think The Island couldn't have only traveld through time, becouse then it whould logically be at the same location. It moved to a different location all together. And If it timetraveld is yet to be revealed no?
 
No, the island and all of its inhabitants transform into the Cloverfield monster. JJ is on top of things, I tell you. This will even cross over into Star Trek eventually.

It will all end with the entire thing being a holodeck program from TNG... shivers.

Seriously though I am really looking forward to the new season, I think Lost is the last TV show that gets me really excitied.
 
Some say that looks like a young Ethan pointing a rifle at Faraday. They also say that new Marvin Candle video with the guy behind the camera saying "this is BS" is Faraday as well.

Excellently edited and everything but I wish people would use something other than Lux Aeterna. Seems to be the default music choice for fan trailers.

I always think that, ever since the Two Towers trailer its been used on everything, but of the bunch, this is one of the better ones.

That was decent, the repeated Kate scenes towards the end was kinda've stupid though.

Yes, but this surge of generic trailers using it seemed to start after the Two Towers trailer, at least thats when I started noticing it.
