That game was ****ing epic. If it weren't for your two god damn Sommoders or whatever they were called, I definitely would have won.

Last time I played t'internet Magic, someone got so pissed off at the weird rules caused by playing Shared Fate and Leveler that they left the game.

Leveler removes your library from the game, and gives you a 10/10 beastie for 5 mana of any colour. Ordinarily shit, but it has interesting combos.
Shared Fate is a 4U blue enchantment that removes the draw phase completely and replaces it with basically giving you a second hand of infinite cards that you take from your opponent's deck. Ordinarily shit, but when combined with Leveler, you get the other dude's deck, and he can't do anything (but doesn't lose, as it's not technically drawing).

That's too bad, bobstarbear, should'a put them in that special casing stuff.
I sold all my cards but they got ****ed up in shipping so I got hardly anything for them. I played the online game a little, but I didn't like the idea of buying a whole new set of cards for online play. Isn't it coming to Steam or something?
Angry Lawyer posts D:
Man a friend of mine recently found all his old cards and one night when I was over there and was drunk he kept pulling all these cards out that I would suddenly remember, it was incredibly great nostalgia times
Then I retrieved all my old decks and we occasionally get really drunk and play Magic, it's great. The rest of his flat hates the shit out of it, of course.
I wonder how the OCTGN client is coming along.
That was always great to play MTG on.
The new version was supposed to be greatly improved, and it's coded in C# too with .NET framework.
OCTGN 2 is very nice. Makes things a lot easier.
So I thought that MTG was completely retarded for years until a friend of mine convinced me to play a game in February. I've been hooked since. I've only got cards from the last couple of sets though so I've got nothing real competitive. I have been messing about with Magic Workstation building decks that I want to buy but probably won't simply because all the cool cards rotate out of standard in the fall.
