I think it's respectless and stupid to burn your own country's flag, but being allowed to be respectless and stupid is one of the cornerstones in any democracy.

I see flag burning as someone saying "I can burn flags, yet I am symbolizing the destruction of a nation and freedom that allows me to burn flags."

But that's just my opinion.

HOWEVER!

I would personally pass a law to allow people to burn flags whenever they feel like it, as long as I get to punch those people in the face at least 3 times.
