finds no soviet union, lots of stuff in stores, and people bitching on cellphones.

"What amazes me today is all these people who walk around with their mobile phones and never stop moaning," said Mr Grzebski.

"I've got nothing to complain about."

Egads. I couldnt even imagine what its like to recover from something like that.

I can't imagine waking up 19 years later to what we have now.

I'd like to see this guy's reaction to the progress of technology. Specifically with special effects in film. He'd be used to seeing shit like Tron. Show him something like Lord of The Rings : Return Of The King and it will blow his ****ing mind.

that's pretty amazing...kuddos to his wife for sticking with it, that's some dedication. guy must be weak and sore all over though...

He's from the former Soviet Union. I doubt he saw much of anything.

Found an updated pic of him

That's the way I feel when I talk to people on instant messengers. I feel like I have an obligation to complain about something, or else there's no conversation.

It sucks, a lot.

Man, its weird, but sometimes I think it would be great to do something like that, if only because StarCraft 2 will probubly have been released by the time I wake up...

If I were him then I'd want to go back into the coma.

he went into a comma in the year i was born :S . thats just creepy, i cant even begin to imagine what this world must look like to him.i hope he writes a book about his experiences or something like that.

He's been in a coma during my entire life :O

makes you think..

(born in '89 and turned 18 end of may)

Another "he's been in a coma my entire life" .netter checking in :P

Turn 19 this month.

"the still showing that thing whit sonny osborn and cher?"
"well she won a oscar and he is a senator"
"good night<peeeeeeeeeeep>"

In Soviet Russia, comma awakens from YOU!!

Man awakens from coma, turns to nurse.

"Is DNF out yet?"

Man awakens from coma, turns to nurse.

"Is DNF out yet?"

nurse:"not, videogames become ilegal in the second coming of crisht"*turns around*
man:"oh crap"<bites high voltage cable> *zzzzzzp!*
nurse:"but they where replace by brain implants that estimulate...oh oh"

man reawakens from 19 year coma ... only to find he has a few years left to live.

"Is DNF out yet?"
lol thats funny.

Wow, he's been sleeping since before I was around.

Wonder what things will be like in 19 years, in 2026.

Thats nuts man. It actually makes me happy that he woke up to the same loving wife he had before he went into coma. Thats dedication. My girlfriend won't even let me play video games when shes around, and gets pissed at just about everything else. Guess not many people realize just be happy with what you have and don't "complain and moan on a cell phone all day". Nobody is garunteed a tomorrow.

19 years.......damn.

If I was there when he woke up, I woulda had a huge tv screen on the wall and I would have started playing scenes from the matrix.

"Welcome to the real world Mr Grzebski."
