With regards to a March 15th release date. I was having a chat with game yesterday and it's still tba.

The way i can tell if the release is coming is pretty simple:

#1. CS:CZ gets released
#2 When Steam can handle people purchasing games over it.

No matter how close hl2 may be to completion it wont be released until steam can cope with so many people dling stuff from it and gettin updates and patches across smoothly.

I hope that when they release HL2, they actuly test there patchs in a area before updating every one, like those 2 recalled patchs.

I'm sure they do test the patches, they're not retards. Things go wrong though.

That's the beauty of Steam too. They can actually recall those updates. Much better than downloading versionxxxxx-xxxxx.exe and finding out it's bugged to shit.

Damn I tried so hard after they started encrypting the .gcf files to hack those Steam videos prior to release but I just couldn't do it!! :|

With things like this, I won't even attempt. It wouldn't be good to enable people to get the game for free.
