That reminds me of a funny micheal jackson joke.

Nice photos. I like the first and the one of your dads camera stuff best :)

YAY!

I got my dad's (well, mine now) F3 working.

Think i'll be using that one from now on. Much easier to get low angles on stuff :)

UPDATEZORZ!

I processed, tested, and printed this one myself!

Working with the enlarging machines is allot of fun :)

Please tell me what you think.

Scanned in some negatives, just for fun!

After I inverted them, adjusted brightness, and faked in a contrast filter, i'm surprised at how these came out. I was using a run of the mill epson scanner, not a fancy negative scanner.

Hahah!

Funny story today. I was walking around downtown (the grittier side, where they're still doing allot of construction, tons of dirt lots), going on a photorun. I'm standing at a crosswalk and see a really nice looking window that i'd like to take a photo of.

So, I cross the road, find the building complex, and low and behold, it's the US Dept of Homeland Security!

So, i'm walking around the homeland security complex, just taking pictures, when I see the security guard sitting under his little canopy thing. It's casting a really, nice sharp shaddow on the blades of grass, and I really wanted to take a picture of hime (while he's still in relax mode).

So here I am, sneaking up on an officer in the Dept of Homeland security. I'm adjusting my aperture and shutter speed, when he catches me out of the corner of his eye.

He spits out his soda and goes "SHIT DUDE! WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING MAN? You can't be doing this! You should have asked me first, oh my god!"

I'm standing here, worried that he's gonna confiscate my camera, my film, my camera bag, and maybe even arrest me or sommat. So I lie.

"Don't worry dude, I haven't taken any photos yet".

He replies "NO MAN! I don't care about the shooting, shoot all you want! What the **** man, you can't be standing on the grass like this, you should have asked me!"

Nice...

Personally I think you should combine them with your sketches to make some uber funneh photos. :p Of course I know jack shit about photography so I can't give you any significant opinion other than...

spiffy

The picture with the pipes is hawt. I also love the picture with the drawers and the people in the background that are out of focus. Send them to beerdude26 AT hotmail.com please :p

I am liking these pictures a lot. I need a good camera. All I have is a generic digital camera.

Meh, not as pleased with my latest shots, as with the others.

Gonna go try color again :)

Found my dads old macro lense and barrel attatchment. Can start taking some macro shots of wet apples and bugs and shit now :D

Story behind the second one:

Was walking around downtown, again, for my photoclass.

I find these newstands that I think look really cool, and I try to get some low angle shots on them.

I'm crouched down for maybe a half hour, trying to get some nice shots, when I sit down to rest my thighs. I figure i'll right some stuff down in my notebook, when some guy walks up to me.

He's dressed in a black aloha shirt, is really white, and has blonde hair. He goes "What are you taking pictures of?"

I figure, "Oh great, TOURISTS!"

Erhrm, "Huh? Oh, just those newstands over there"

He goes "ah, you know, that's the federal building across the street" and points to the office building that's well, across the street...

Now, i've lived here all my life. Of course I know it's the ****ing federal building! What is this guy onto?

I go "Yeah, I know"

Now, a tad condescending "ah, well, i'm with the FBI and..."

AHA! That's why this bastard is hounding me. Some lone agent that has nothing better to do but bug me about my photos.

He shoves his badge in my face, while I stare at him like he's joking. For a while, I DID think he was joking.

"Yeah well, we'd appreciate it if you bla bla bla" he starts going on about some bullcrap about the whole 911 incident, and about how it's too risky nowadays, yada yada yada.

"Yeah yeah, well, I guess you want me to stop taking pictures then".

Him "Oh no no no, what are you taking pictures for?"

I go "a class..."

Him "AH! Well, I understand this is for a class, and i'd just appreciate if you'd try not to point your camera at the building, and please, don't sit in one spot for too long. It makes people suspicious and..."

Wow, i'm thinking of telling this guy to go **** off by now. He knows that ANYBODY could get the same photos off google earth...

So now, this jack has my name, a reason to tap my phone, and I have my pictures.

HUZZAH!

Maxikana pwns.

No.

I like zem. Your story reminds me of when we weren't allowed to film the Brighton Pavillion for some reason, and also when I joked with armed police at the Labour conference.

Nice shots, in the first shots youve really captured the wetness on the road, nice job!

EDIT: Oops. :|
Nice shots anyway, the one with the clouds is the best.
