I think black people did well under slavery though. I mean, for the ancestors to be that great despite not being free? That's pretty awesome. I wish my ancestors had been great great great great, but they were only great great.

Well we've known he was insane for a while. Then we found out he was an anti-semite. Now he's an insane racist. What else can he be? I guess he also wants to be a muderer. I think he's not far from it. I hope he loses all his money and is just an insane guy who made a few good movies... like Gary Busey. He'll be the Gary Busey of the next generation... just more hated.

Also, since I always put my hand in the bowl when it comes to racism conversations... I don't think there's even a fraction of "reverse racism" compared to the amount of white to black racism this country still experiences. I see/hear it several times a week from various sources. I think people who live in a place where they don't commonly experience racism just think it doesn't exist. It could be happening on the other side of town or just outside your neighborhood for all you know. I know that's the way it is around here.

Not to often no. It is very easy for a white person to be labeled racist compared to a black person being labeled racist. If Mel Gibson was black and referred white people as crackers this wouldn't even be an issue.

To the person who wants proof. I have lived near Detroit for sometime. Although I am not dumb enough too, friends of mine have been in "black" neighborhoods. They were usually verbally harassed in someway for being white. In a dominate white neighborhood a black person doesn't have to worry about being verbally abused by white people.

Reverse racism can be most strongly felt by white males. Try to look up a scholarship for white males and see what you come up with. While there are thousands of scholarships for African Americans, there is not a single one for white males. Could you imagine if there were thousands of scholarships for whites and none for black males? Everyone would be screaming racism.

Because I said that right? Maybe you should go back and read what I really wrote. I didn't know you couldn't make it out alive by verbal comments. I've heard some stories as a white women being whistled at to a white guy being laughed at and called an ugly cracker among black people.

I've never heard of a physical altercation happen before though, which contradicts many peoples fears of being robbed in a black neighborhood because it is so called bad. Of course not all black people are racist just like not all white people are. It is just dumb that racist black people aren't held on the same level as racist white people.

The fact is your idea that if you step foot in a black neighborhood you will be verbally assulted with deadly words such as "cracker" or "white boy" are bullshit fabrications. Where do you live no limit? Like I said already, not all black people are racists. However, the difference between being racist against whites and being racist against blacks is that white racism is acceptable.

Can I argue that an all black college is racist? Or an African-American club is racist? If the answer is, no it is not, then why not? If there was ever a Caucasian club or an all white college everyone would be going crazy. It would be seen as an act of racism and would be condemned.

The whole concept as race as a whole in society extremely large. One can argue that black people have a higher unemployment rate because their lazy and just collect welfare. While someone else can argue that blacks higher having a higher unemployment rate because African Americans are labeled as lazy and therefore the employer won't hire them, and the cycle continues.

I may have went overboard with the verbal comments in black neighborhoods against whites, but it does happen frequently. They have their reasons for being racist against whites just as whites have theirs against blacks. I feel like you are trying to argue that black people aren't racist in some way no limit? I have already stated that not all of them are racist against whites, yet you continue to defend the point that someone all black people love white people.

The only point I have been trying to argue is that there is a large difference in the way a white racism is scene in society and a black racism. I probably didn't use the best example to make that point but don't be so ignorant as to believe that there is not reverse racism in society.
 
I live in New Mexico. Not a lot of black people but a shitload of mexicans. I don't ever recall being called "racist" terms and I've been to plenty of mexican neighborhoods in this city.

Yes, there is a real difference between how white racism is seen and how black racism is seen. The reason for this is because one is real racism the other is fake perceived by people like you.

You keep repeating black people are racist too but can't really point out any kind of specifics aside from stories you heard of black people yelling racist things. Yet I can point to all kinds of actual cases of whites being racist against blacks. Everything from the Tea Party to employment to criminal justice to what you yourself said about black neighborhoods in this thread. The fact remains black people often get passed up for jobs. The fact is people like Rush Limbaugh are racist ****s that have a huge following behind them, and the fact remains there are black neighborhoods white people like you are too scared to step foot in to. The fact is the criminal justice system is extremely unfair to black people.

Until you can give me similar examples on the black side the claim that black people are racist too is absolutely insane. Is there some racism on the black side? Obviously, but it has absolutely no effect on white society. The same can't be said about white racism toward black people.

I don't know if anyone has been in this situation, but one time I was waiting in line at a self checkout station. The line was about 6-7 people long and it was one line. A black person comes up and cuts the entire line. The man infront of me goes sir the line starts over here. The black guy goes no nigga this for the right side, that line is for the left side. The white man explains to him that the one line is for both lanes. The black guys repeats himself telling him that hes in line for the right side and everyone else is in line for the left side.

The black guy then steps up infront of the man who has been waiting in line. The white man then rams the black guys cart out of the way and begins scanning. An arguement starts, starting with man cracka dont make me whoop your ass, im paraphrasing but it was something along those lines. Of course the employee is some 80 year old lady who doesn't know what the heck to do. I don't remember how it ended, I think the manager had to step in but you get my point.

Now say it was the other way around and it was the white guy cutting the line. If he would have dropped the N-Bomb he would have gotten his ass kicked by every black person in line.

Also Mexicans have nothing to hold against whites. There wasn't many of them during the early 1900's when racism was abundant.
 
Racism is Racism. But if you think that a word that has ties with years of oppression should be equally compared to one that has no real severe background, you are incomprehensibly selfish.
 
Again, the examples you are coming up with is black people calling white people "crackers". Is this really racism? Black people call other black people "niggas", if your logic makes sense then those black people are racist against blacks. Was that men in the store that you described being a douchebag because he didn't like white people? Or was he being a douchebag because he simply is a douchebag and race had nothing to do with it? Why do you look at the actions of black people and if they were doing something bad to a white guy it automatically becomes racism in your head? If I cut off a black guy on the freeway did I do that because I'm a racist?

And a black person would never say anything like what Mel Gibson said, so your anology there is absolutely absurd. "If you get raped by a pack of crackers you deserved it" is not racist, it's absurd and would never be said.

I think the fact of being considered a whole race of servants and people to do manual work or drug traffickers,and for being of a coutnry whit lower life conditions and eveyrthing else,resulting in clasifiyng them as of a lower layer.....well that might not make things right

I am not mexican but I undesrtand how that would feel,and since I know so much of the usa and see how are mexican portrayed and such it gets on my nerves sometimes,off course things like speedy gonzales are not viewed as racist since is not a negative and it may be true,and also the fact we latinamericans are easily pissed off

I think the real issue here is stereotyping.

Everything is labeled as a race issue. A black man repeatedly using the N word towards others does not make him racist, but an ignorant dumbass.

Whenever two individuals of different ethnicity argue, people automatically assume a race issue is involved. That simply is not true in most cases, but a lot of people are willing to bring up race to justify the situation.
