Mesmerize Leaked

I use to be a big System fan but I have developed a love for the METAL over the years and grew apart from them. They are to pop-culture now.

Pigeonholes and categories ftw! :|
Pop or pop-culture is pretty much dead in the water at the moment. Even Top Of The Pops should really be re-named Top Of The R'n'B And Rap. Or something.

Anyone else notice the striking resemblence between "Lost in Hollywood" and Radio Head's "Street Spirit (fade out)"?

And yeah, the album rocks!

Yes, especially the intro.

I think I've enjoyed pretty much every song on the CD now.

Interestingly enough I find Old School Hollywood to be my favorite. It's got a sound to it that I've never really heard before. The techno-rock combo works surprisingly well. It's just one of those songs that is so unique that stands out over the others. :)

Ive been a Huge soad fan for awhile, And i was so effing scared this cd would suck, they couldnt live through another so-so cd such as Steal this album. But i was slightly dissapointed when i first listened, but after i started listening to them, Im in LOVE
I find Lost in hollywood, Violent Pornography, and Question! to be my favorites so far.

Hey guys,

I dont know what you think but i believe system have put alot more thought into this album. Ive followed system for a long while now and not one song on an album has made me question my love for them.

My fav album is Toxicity tho, i cant wait to see these guys perform their new material at Download festival!!!!!! I hope they play all the classics aswell

Lets steal his ticket and hide in a giant overcoat as one person.

Did anyone notice the faint piano playing on the song "This cocaine makes me feel like I'm on this song" towards the end at about 1.48 mins into it I just thought I was trippin but I was hearing it. Was really stoned.

Is it just me or could you imagine a orchestra playing with this band on some of there melodic songs (Not just this album) expecially "Question!" And "Lost in Hollywood

6. This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song (2:12) - This song have fast vocals backed by heavy guitar riffs. I believe I hear a piano playing in the background also.

I did .

Yeah, lets do it!!

I don't really care if there is a piano in 'This Cocaine..' as it is great anyway. Though the use of a piano just shows the System are progressing to a new level of musicality

You will never steal my ticket, NEVER!!

Hahah ev i shall rub it in ur face even more now!!!

Hey it FINALY got released in Aus.... it was a week late... and i resisted the temptation to download. I love this album... I would love to have heard cigaro when i first played the album, thats classic that song (i had the mp3 for ages, as well as byob)

I love Violent pornography, Chokin chicks and sodomy.

... I'm talking about the song.

(Or am I?)

lost in hollywood, question, ... hell i won't lie, this entire album inspires me.. I can't wait for hypnotize :( and soad actually didn't go cheap on the packaging, and darons fathers artwork fits the album perfectly :) Its shocking to read the official lyrics and realize that I had been way WAY off when singing along weeks ago lol

I haven't gotten Mesmerize yet, bet I've been planning on it. It sounds awesome, from your descriptions thoguh. I just hope my parents don't mind the parental advisory.

What does BYOB stand for? One guy told me Be Your Own Boss and another Bring Your Own Bombs

I bought this album not that long ago, its pretty damn good really! I think its one of there better ones, although I havent listened to there other CD's for a long time now, got them kicking about somewhere.
