I would try and capture them and put them outside but the problem is my window is broken and won't close so if i put outside they would probably just back again.

God, I am so tired. I'm probably just going to end up falling asleep in the study (where I am now). I'll probabaly just curl up on the sofa and go to sleep there. At least there are no moths in here (I don't think).

If your window is broken, I would think moths are the least of your worries...

Yeah, broken windows are the largest cause of wolves coming into your house and stealing your tv.

Last summer some wasps built a nest at my window. I was in a dormitory without air conditioning, so we left the window open all the time. There was a screen in the window (screen inside, then window opening, then glass window opening outwards), but there was also an opening where the screen was supposed to meet the wall. The windows open outwards, and the wasps built inside the window so that closing it would have knocked off the nest. At first I thought it was just a small nest for a solitary wasp (only one wasp started it). So I left it.

And then it grew... massively. I started counting wasps but couldn't keep track after about 20 or so. By the end of the summer there were probably at least 30 wasps in the nest, maybe even 40 or 50. One time part of the nest got damaged and there was a hole through a few of the layers. There were wasps crawling all over that hole, using their special spit/plant matter mixture to seal it up. It was reminiscent of the time I almost stuck my face in a paper wasp nest before I saw all the larvae crawling all over it.

Every day a wasp or two would come in my room through the crack. One time, I was lying in bed, and a wasp landed in my head and I very gently shook it out of my hair. I couldn't knock off the nest for fear that the wasps would get angry and swarm in my room.

Long story short.... moths? Not so bad.

Man dfc05 that's pretty scary. I hate bees and wasps! I like them, but not near me!

I just put the boxes that I've had on my weight bench back into my closet, and started using the weight bench again.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I forgot how exhilarating it feels to lift weights. Dusted off my dumbbells too.

EDIT: Damn, why do I have such a knack at posting and having it start a new page? All the damn time.

Shit, that's nothing. When I lived at my fathers in a 3 level house we had a massive 2.5 foot tall, 3 feet around yellow jacket nest in our basement. Like the ones you see in cartoons.

At first it was like, oh, a yellow jacket in the basement, buzzing around the lights. Then it was more .. and more.. and dead bees laying around.

We didn't go down there very much and didn't see the nest until the cable guy came to add another room for the cable. Their nest was a foot from the cable splitter box.

The way they got in? The deck which was connected to the 2nd level had a huge bolt hole that didn't have a bolt in it. So there was a 1" hole in the house leading right outside. We frequently had wasps building nests to the bottom of the deck, so it's easy to see how this happened.

All said and done, there were several thousand dead yellow jackets.

I'm at a friends house with a few other people and they're playing WoW... -.-

Ive had that same experience but with FFXI. Its one thing to watch your friends play a game, but watching your friends play an MMO is the single most mind numbing experience there is.

I generally enjoy watching people play games... but fortunately I've never had to watch anyone play an MMO.

I just got into the Warhammer beta.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

*waits a week for the torrent to download*

Got into the Red Faction Beta (damn, I'm getting into a lot of betas recently).

Looking at the videos, looks like a LOT of fun.

Well, I can officially say the drug deal trip was worth it.

;)

so in 1990 I began collecting baseball cards. It's funny. I thought they would be worth so much, but 99% of them aren't worth jack shit. The other 1% is worth something, but not nearly as much as I expected.

Supply and demand. 1990's were massively over produced, and with the internet, the availability there. Easy to find anything.

So I've been sitting on these cards since I was a child and I'm disappointed.

18 years later, 99.9% are worth pretty much what I paid for them.

I do have some gems though. Few hundred dollars for everything I have I guess.

I'll have to get a price guide to find which ones are the most valuable and separate those ones.

I did have one that was worth $400 when I got it, but it was stolen. It was worth $1300 dollars when I checked 10 years ago. Probably around $2200. Gone.

Its working! The paint is coming off! I just have to let it sit until tomorrow night and I think it will all come off like it was nothing.

*tries to guess what part of your body you got paint on*

What the hell were you doing with that out!?

Painting.

Also, this.

On a side note, I also just figured out how to make Maya stop crashing. ****ing new ATI drivers messed everything up.

I lost about 16lbs. in the past three months. Still trying to get into somewhat decent shape before I ship off to basic. (Dec 09)

Went from being able to do about 12 push-ups at a time to about 35 now, which is still quite pathetic. Can do about 60 sit-ups and about 20 chin-ups now too. Though chin-ups aren't a requirement for the NAVY.

I still suck at running though. I can only run about a quarter of a mile continuously before I run out of gas. I'm going to try running at increments of about 50 steps, then walk for 20 steps in order to conserve stamina.

The running really worries me though because even if I do make 1 1/2 mile in under 13 minutes, (that's my requirement for my age) we still do jogs in formation during boot. I won't be able to set my own pace.

I shit my pants with the Oblivion Lost mod. **** S.TA.L.K.E.R., never playing it again.

Oblivion lost makes stalker million times scarier.

*holds toolbooth*

Still don't understand all the hype over STALKER yet. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to play it.

It is impossible to ****ing sleep in Oblivion Lost because I always awake to a blowout. Shit has to be scripted. ;_;

I'm going to put on 25 lbs within a few months.

I was injured about 8 months ago loading trucks, somehow I hurt my shoulder loading 'team lift' boxes over my head. I'm not 18 anymore. I was throwing them around like I just shot up some adrenaline. I enjoyed that job because I felt like it was healthy exercise.

Anyway so and after the injury I got a job where I sit there and go through papers and haven't had much work since.

So I've completely wasted away. I've lost 20 or 25 lbs. and was thin to begin with.

My shoulder isn't 100% but I think I'm totally ready to start with some pull ups and light bench work, and I've been lazy, I'm going to get back on my feet and do some leg presses.

I have 105 dollars in the new Bike for Raziaar fund.

Only a few hundred more to go to get a real decent bike!

At this yard sale, I'm trying to sell a bike today for about 35-$50. Its only got a few miles on it. let me know if you live in the area and are interested, I'll show a picture.

I live in Texas... heh. And I'm hoping to get a real good economy mountain bike that I see most companies sell for around 200-500 dollars. Anything more than that is way out of my needs range.

What kind of bike is it you're trying to sell anyways? What company, model and year?

I'm watching the Olympics.

I hate sports.
Even worse are team sports video games. Madden sucks.

The only sports game I've ever played and actually enjoyed was NBA Jam for SNES with a few good friends. Good times.

Otherwise, sports games are probably better enjoyed off the couch imo. Course I wouldn't really know being that I've never involved myself with any kind of team sports. I've been a couch potato my entire life other than swimming, jogging, and weight lifting.

Oh yeah, I couldn't care less about the Olympics.

Mongoose Wildcard - 'Team Issue'

It's been stored indoors.

I got a DUI in 2002 and so I needed to get to work which wasn't very far. I think the bike is actually 2004 though. I had been getting rides for a while.

When I was a kid I used to be really into freestyle bikes for many years. I could do a bunch of insane tricks.

So I guess I just could never imagine myself on a mountain bike, but after riding this thing up a huge hill, I was begging for a lower gear. ****.

Mongoose... ick no thanks. That's the brand of bike we have now and it always breaks down. I hate mongoose brand, and it's one of the brands walmart always carries.

I don't know if they make some good bikes... but I know the ones they sell with walmart are shitty and have spoiled my view of them.

Plus, that looks more like a bmx style bike? I'm saving up to get a mountain bike/trail bike.

No it's sucks and I'll tell you the easiest way to tell if a bike is good or not. Pick it up.

The heavier it is, the cheaper it is.

This was about $80 new.

also can't believe they put a sprocket that big on this thing. ****ing useless.

I like the trick bikes with the small sprocket. Instant cruise speed and good up hills. Of course a bike with gears is much better suited for any kind of traveling.

i'm intoxicated and feeling rather queasy:

otpiions1: drink water
options2: sleep
Otpions3: fix up this post to make it cuoherent
option 4: stop myself vomiting by doing any of the above three or your sugestion.
