more girls then guys play pc games?

Lol! Once, when my friend was 12, he was pretty good at CS, but that was cuz he played and wasted his money at the Lan Gaming Area a lot...
He was a weak person...
 
a long time ago there used to be a really nice girl in my clan for tfc, she was good too, probably better than me. then i stopped playin tfc, too bad. ironically her nickname was angel.
 
I didnt know what she looked like, never saw a picture. but nevertheless it was her personality i liked about her.
 
Its really too bad that there aren't more girls that play games, the few that I know of that do play are much more mature than most guys online, they also bring a very new and fresh personality to the games they play (usually). On top of those advantages it would also make playing games not seem so... Geeky?
 
Play a MMORPG... theres thousands of girls online there... Lets not forget games like 'The Sims' and all those internet java games on sites like Yahoo.com

This info doesnt surpise me at all, I see an equal number of males verse females whenever I play online games.
 
I know a girl(She used to take music lessons from my dad) And she loved RPG games alot, she played MMORPG's a lot too(Chinese RPG Games)
 
I wish I knew more girls that played games. The ones that I do know tend to go more for RPGs

If they went into a game and asked: Whos a girl? Everyone probably said "I am, and i have big boobs."

yeah, a girl i know plays her N64 a lot, mario 64, mario kart 64, mario tennis, and so on
 
If you want to meet girl gamers play MMORPG's. Everquest, Anarchy Online etc etc.

I was on the beta for the AO Shadowlands and I didn't know wtf I was doing. This girl started to help me and no joke took 2 hours of her time to do it aswell.

And get this. I once read that girls are BETTER gamers than us guys. Because girls are alot more patient etc etc.

But most girls do keep quiet on servers in HL. Because all the horny geeks get excited for some reason.

I have a gf and she is so not interested in games. I tried to get her to play Natural Selection but she just looked at me and called me a geek. :D

i know of at least two that are rather good looking, one plays BF, DC, Warcraft III, and HL, the other plays a lot of Tribes 2 and Planetside

I've never played console games....probably because I don't have an N64/PS2, etc. But yeah, I'd agree with you, the girls I know that play games like stuff like final fantasy. and none of them know about half-life, how sad :(

That's not really true - they may be more patient, but patience doesn't really affect gameplay unless you're playing a slow RPG. Quick shooter games don't mean much. Girls and guys are probably equally good at games - it just depends on how much you practice at them.
 
ive only met a few girls on line around my age (17) that play cs, i knew they where chicks since 1. they used the mics and didnt have that squeaky little kids voice. and 2. the had pics of themself posted on the clans website, both where actually pretty good looking, not to mention a hell of alot of fun to play with. but damn it, why the hell cant i find any in the west michigan area.....and like i said before, theres almost none that play paint ball, i go out to the field about every other week and so far all ive seen there have been a couple of 13-15 year old girls that have been draged out there with there family. i know a couple otheres taht have played once and after being shot they screamd bloody murder and refused to ever play again. seriously, it donst hurt that much. its like a bee sting if ur shooting at 280, its not that bad

yeah that's true, even for strategy games now. even though players should be using strategy in them, patience and planning don't help you win since everybody just rushes you.

I heard that the most popular game played by girls was the oddworld series (abe and munch).
And i'd have to agree with that because my elder sister played the hell out of that game.

Video games will never be in the Olympics unless they involve some sort of actual physical interaction, and by physical interaction I don't just mean moving your hands around, im talking about running and jumping and stuff that takes exercise to do.
