EDIT: The second picture is from the E3 2004 Video from Gamespy
Aphal said:Thanks. That kinda helps with my post. In 2003 they had full hands, and now they don't. :/
Wildhound said:Umm the combine in the gamespy video blatantly has all his fingers...
The only place they don't is in a screenshot - the date of which we just don't know. It could be pre-E3 2003 for all we know.
Aphal said:I seriously doubt that. The Combine police in that screenshot is the 2004 model, the 2003 movies they had a different one.
(seen here)
In the movie, I'm seeing the same thumb-index-triple finger block thing, but it is rather hard to judge from a mov file. Hopefully another bink will clear this all up.
Aphal said:Thanks for clearing that up with your stolen information. I particularly like my blurry image and it looks like what I said, to me :\
SubKamran said:You ARE looking at the place where he's holding the machine gun? I can distinctly see about 3 or 4 fingers.
Pitbul said:i know you didn't dumbass thats why i had to tell you again.

the 2004 pic is XBOX version
Sparta said:Well this just offers more proof to me that the screenshots released recently are from an older build. After all the latest video's show that the coastline is not green like those screenshots

breadbomb said:All I need to have fun in HL2 is the manipulator and random objects, that thing looks sweet. In the initial shaky cam video at E3 when they're testing physics in the room with the water, plinko machine and all that stuff, the guy picks up a dead Combine soldier. I wonder if it's possible to pick up live enemies?
