aw, come on guys, everyone knows the NeoTokyo team is the one churning out the highest quality content (not to mention being more original than the countless war\counterterrorist mods\games out there)

Incitatus said:to be brief
Extreme historical accuracy, extremely realistic gameplay (no more railguns), constant expansion with new nations never seen before in a WW2 game (USA did a lot but they weren't the only ones fighting ) and a full, character driven, single player campaign with a setup at least I have never seen before.
and more, but I'm mainly concerned with the visual side of things, maybe Mith or B0B would like to add.

lgwb0b said:LGW, to be brief, offers intensive, immersive, absorbing multiplayer and single player that's not only visually appealing but mentally stimulating with enough variety to keep the player involved more because they want to be rather than a lack of anything else to do. LGW will contain over 90 WW2 weapons (some never seen in games before), over eight nations, historically accurate battles with specific attention payed to the units involved, player operated vehicles, and realistically modeled gameplay. Because of gameplay, players will be heavily inclined to cooperate (even on public servers), and an emphasis will be placed on squad and fireteam tactics
some key features to look forward to:
- weapons with realistic breathing simulation, recoil simulation, sighting (iron sights), and bullet ballistics
- original sounds and voice acting
- player controlled heavy weapons: flamethrowers, realistic machine guns, towed artillery, trench mortars, flak guns, and anti air guns
- player cooperation: the ability to direct player controlled artillery fire, coordinate fireteam movement, and call in air support
- in game graphic interfaces for skilled tasks: setting explosives, picking locks, medical work, etc.
- player controlled vehicles with hit boxes and mountable locations
- historically accurate maps
- the ability to construct and repair fortifications
snipers will no longer be the dominant class, and machine guns will be something to be feared. because of bullet ballistics and aiming simulation, players will no longer be able to jump out from behind corners and pop a shot into a machine gunner before he has time to respond. sniping will take a fair amount of practice and skill, but it will not be impossible to do.
skilled tasks, such as setting explosives and picking locks and such, will be quite complex, as will some weapons. LGW plans on implementing an offline training / familiarization system which will allow players to select a particular special task (for example, the use of explosives), provide an explanation on how it works, and allow players to practice using it whenever they wish. the same applies to basic familiarization for new players
I haven't actually looked at all these mods, but the one that I think will be the coolest is Entropy. An *almost* massively-multiplayer gang warfare mod with NPC civilians, vehicles, cops and the ability to buy buildings... :EDnA said:Op:COIN RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
VOTE FOR IT
