Yeh - Dead Rising is gory. The problem is you end up laughing so much that it doesn't seem violent at all

Goriest games on earth k, others are just:
mildly gory (some blood, some body parts- nothing realistic),
funny-gory (gibs and huge splashes of blood everywhere-funneh, like Gears Of War and Postal series)
not gory (some blood or limbs here and there isn`t really gore)

Don`t know about you, but the more realistic gore game has, the more awsome it is.

Don't know about the most violent game as far as content, but Gears of War is definately the most brutal one I've seen as far as representing realistic scenes of violent death. The blood and gore effects in the game look very cinematic.

The USAS-12 automatic shotgun might as well have been called the dismember-tron 5000 for what it did. Whenever i used it, I'd leave a trail of blown off arms, heads, and legs in my wake.

After sof2, i don't think there's been a game since that has attempted that level of model destruction. Everything afterwords has either been straight up gibs or blood decals. Whatever happened to blowing off someone's foot, or shooting them in the neck to make them choke on blood, or making their face dissappear?

Thats what puts sof2 on the top of the gorey chart for me.
