Mushroom cloud over N.Korea

I think this was posted, wasn't it?

...and now it's dissapeared, I can't find it. :| I distinctly remember The Dark Elf closing it, though.

arn't there other kinds of bombs that make mushroom-ish clouds. maybe it wasnt nuclear ( ?)

Well, lots of explosions form that shape, but generally its nuclear blasts that are notable for it.

It was a big frikken explosion is the point, and I'm usure the shockwave spread out even farther.

Plus, how many kinds of bombs make explosions 3-4 km wide?

either the Korean's have been testing nuke's, or anyone with enough money could of payed the Korean authorities to do testing in their juristiction,... right?

that is a good arguement. I doubt that mant bombs can make an explosion that big.

Hmmmm, 3/4 km isn't as big as you think. Even your standard big bomb could do that. I don't think its nuclear in anyway. It also looks like an accident. Its in a area of Korea where only the military may go, if you a reporter you will proberly be shot dead. They don't care. It was also the aniversary of korean something. I wouldn't be suprised if it was a deminstration of there power which went horible wrong.

ok, so were speculating, but one factual thing here to note is that theres no main stream news coverage. , which I find disturbing/confusing in its own right.

Can I get some botox in ma face so I don't look suprised when Korea blows up the world...

lol, I thought so.
I was gonna post "what the hell is the bentinal?"
man, those website should put in thier title "NEWS HERE ARE LIES!".

some weeks ago, news googling Osama Bin Laden's first result was a staire site "Osama Bin Laden Captured!"

EDIT:

oh, I forgot. Ontopic: I'm pretty positive NK and Iran are making Nuclear wepoans .. sooner or later they will succeed in building one.
I wouldn't be too suprised if I hear about other countries are trying to get some. IMHO if I was a leader of some country, it would seem to me that building a nuke is the best and fastest way to avoid an American war against me.
Not that building a nuke is easy or fast, but it's the only "guaranteed" way.

I don't get why Iraq was invaded for being dodgy with WMD, when north Korea definately has them, and is definately dodgy.

Iraq never even had WMD... and here's Korea setting the bloody things off. Deary me Mr Bush, maybe it's because there's no OIL in North Korea.

Agreed.
In the last thread, I bet 5 bucks that Bush won't invade NK.

This is just dumb.

well, the BBC are reporting that the British government are using Libya as an example to North Korea, in regards to disarming and rejoining the international community (Libya gave up their weapons programmes to the British government earlier this year). a British minister recently went over to North Korea to open a dialogue on human rights, so he has a good chance of at least laying the foundations of a peaceful disarming.

this time, i think (or rather hope) they're going about it the right way.

in Libya's case: it's because Qathafi (the president over there) is a chicken.

So if Bush invades NK, would that make you happy or make you complain more?

Haha, have you read any dialogue between NK and the US/China/Japan? It is scary.

Libya is on the same level as Iraq. North Korea on the other hand is on an entirely different level.

well before this meeting, every british government has refused all invites from North Korea. if they're agreeing now, it either means they're being pressured into it, or they have something up their sleeves.

and no i haven't read any of the 'dialogue' between those nations. i assume you know what i mean when i say 'open a dialogue with the North Koreans' ? anyway, if you've got any links to that it'd be great.

i think the difference with North Korea is that most people are treating them as a tough nut to crack, and trying to maneuver themselves into position to take a swipe at them and crack them. wrong attitude in my opinion. hopefully the talks will go well and together we can eventually coax them out of their shells rather than flush them out.

I guess Bush realizes a few million lives can come before his precious oil.

north korea has a massive army, i think it was one of the top 10, i dont think bush is stupid enough to do that, or is he? :rolling: :rolling:

It'll most likely go into talk's, but who knows, maybe the US incursion into Iraq has made them jumpy. I hope that's all. I'd be very suprised if they decided to stop testing by force.

Bush, yes. His advisors, if he listens, lets hope not.

I doubt we're are gonna start building up for a war with north korea anytime soon, our military is already stretched thin around the world and occupied with the middle east right now. And bush won't see much of a purpose in going to NC because there's no oil :-P. Of course he already did make the remark about it being a "axis of evil" :rolling: (wish i could remember how to talk like a 8th grader)

Great...so everywhere the US is preparing to retreat.

Great. Dumb. Move. To. Move. Forces. Out. Of. Europe.

Perhaps the media is being paranoid, but this whole situation is getting twitchy. ...I dont like it...

North Korea is a far bigger threat to U.S. national security than Iraq ever was.

I thought they said it was a forest fire?
