Watching the vid interview right now. Aliens exist, we will have anti gravity in 7 years, and it goes on and on. Very interesting.

I reckon he's lying. He was downloading a picture but failed to press Print Screen to screenshot what was on the remote viewer.

Well theres no proof. So he could be telling the truth.
Though it did all sound a bit dodgey...

interesting stuff.. who knows, it might be true

I'm sure this is one of those situations where you DON'T give the benefit of the doubt :p

He doesn't seem like such a conspiracy nut... interesting though.

Seems ok. Not too exaggerated, but also a bit too much at once. (Free energy, alien ships, reverse-engineered them)

Bit stupid of him not to take evidence, tho. Of course no one will believe him now :p

He found nothing, he's just trying to make his crime seem less severe.

You can detect when someone is lying.

There could be a small possibility that NASA told him to say that kind of stuff without evidence. To make him look like a looney, and avoid suspicion with NASA.

I hope it's true, but only because aliens are cool. Not that excited about the anti-gravity though, we're pretty close to perfecting the newest buttered toast/cat prototype as it is.

there's the possibility he's telling the truth, but I like the odds of him lying better.

ok after watching the vid this seems silly. he's not once looking to the left, just reminiscing while looking to the right a.k.a making stuff up = lying. he could be "reverse" in his brain pattern functioning in that aspect but that'd be one hell of a coincidence..
He's blinking all the time and you can hear it in his voice as well.

Ah, some NLP skills I detect.

Not everyone has the same eye accessing cues.

Edit: Shizzle. That Guy shouldn't go to jail, whoevers in charge of their security systems should be shot.

What i can't understand is why the hell the US Government is pushing for a 60 year (!!!) sentence if all he was doing was snooping around, especially if they're calling BS on his story (in terms of what he says he found).

I know that if i was the US Government and this information really existed and i caught someone illegally accessing it, i'd be so pissed that i would be pushing for such a rediculous sentence. However, if i'd caught them accessing relatively inconsequential (albeit sensitive) information then there's no way i'd be pushing a such a sentence.

btw, just to clarify, i don't believe the alien / ufo aspect of his story, but i do believe he may have accessed info on alternative energy sources.

Dunno, sounds like a quite complex lie. Either he is interpretting things badly, he has been trying to construct some huge lie since he knows he's doomed to jail anyway or indeed it's the truth.

With no evidence can't really assume anything.

Yeah, I mean anyone couldve made a script like that. admins using blank passwords made me go WTF bigtime.

His story is bull shit, but the 60 year sentence thing is weird though:| .

Yeah, his eyes did only move to the top left, which is visual construction (horizontal left is audial construction), but who knows if the feed itself has been reversed? [/conspiracy]

OK now i definitely call BS. In the video linked by Shakermaker, McKinnon says that he doesn't specifically recall hacking immediately after 9/11, yet in this interview he says that he did continue to hack immediately after because he "wanted to see if there was a conspiracy afoot".

I'm surprised that Clarky hasn't added his 2 cents to this thread yet.

That doesn't work on everyone you know. People have different eye accessing cues.

It is rubbish.

NASA havn't even landed a guy on the moon yet, nevermind all that stuff. :p

You're assuming he was using windows? :)

I believe the guy personally. I wouldn't be suprised if the media 'forgot' about him now, as he is whisked off to camp x-ray in a blackhawk and never seen again. The guy caused no damage, that's a fact we can all agree with. The fact the americans are saying he caused a few million dollars worth of damage is just an outright lie. You have to ask yourselves why they'd lie like that. The only reason is that they want him extradited to keep him quiet.

Interesting read / watch.

He clearly isnt lying, but that doesnt make what hes saying true.

On the contrary, i do think he is lying at least to some degree. As i said in my earlier post he's contradicting himself between interviews.

God I hate click on line.
The presenters always go on about the latest e-phonomenom - blogging, or cyberterrorism. Or some stupid word to describe things that no-one actually does. They use stupid over done bodly language, and talk to you as if your 5. Just look at the interview, showing the interviewer half the time, and keeps going into black and white mode as if we're unable to pay attention to anything if it doesn't change colours ect. Pricks.

That's a great picture, I've got it on a postcard. Not sure what to make of the text though, you could read it at many levels.

That's the thing: all my instincts tell me not to believe this guy and pass him off as a loony, but on the other hand I do want to believe what he is saying. One aspect we will be able to check within seven to ten years are the anti-gravity devices. According to the hacker dude, these will appear very soon.

Yeah, the audio does suck a lot. Any links to a high res version?
