So I was driving home from my sisters wedding ceremony to get changed out of my smart suit and into some smart casual clothes for the reception, when a complete nutcase runs out infront of my car trying to stop me (GTA style). I freak out, knowing that if I stop, he will either damage me, or damage my car. Or probably both.

So, in that milisecond, I floor it, swerve to avoid him, tyres squealing, and drive past him. He kicks the side of my car (probably broke his foot, I wasnt going slow). A few seconds later (and a few hundered meters up the road) after ive had some time to realise what's just happened, rage overcomes me. I ponder doing a handbrake-turn in the road to flatten the arsehole that's just tried to grab my car (who is also in the middle of the road waving obscenities at other drivers). I drive to the next stop-light and get out to check for damage. The driver inthe car behind me (who witnessed the whole event, and also took evasive action) gets out of his car and comes over to check my car too. Since the marks on my car wiped off, I decide to just go home and get changed and ignore the whole thing. Calling the police would no doubt require them to spend hours trying to get shoe-prints off my car, and take a report off me - which would pretty much ruin my sisters wedding day. I havent told anyone either as it would probably lead to someone calling the police on my behalf, or just make a special day seem tainted.

Meh. I hate this country, it's going to ****. So many criminals on the streets etc ... I wanna get out :(

Are you sure he didn't want to warn you about a bridge that was out up ahead? What city was this in?

Come live with me Pobby, in old London, we're getting cars next week!

As long as the guy didn't damage your car, i suppose it's all ok. Sounds like one of the guys with problems rather than trying to car jack you, you did the right thing though, he could have been dangerous. Speaking of weird things on the road, some kid in a hoody just stood on this main road when my mate was giving me a lift home last night, he saw the car coming, but didn't move as we weren't gonna run him over, but he made NO attempt to move out the road, what the **** is going on!?

Yeah, Roadrash style. Make sure you buy the Diablo, though- and ALWAYS use the chain ^____^

Er, anyway, that really sucks.

That very interesting & stupid on his part. I know a couple people in my area who would have educated him on one of the other aspects of GTA without blinking an eye.

Running him over would dent your car though D:

Some crazy people in this world.

Yes, and i'd be the one going to prison. That's what I mean, this country is going to ****. The criminals walk the streets, and anyone with the balls to give them what they deserve gets punished for it.

I'm just going to go to bed and forget about the whole thing. It makes me sick thinking about it. My poor car :(

Come to Rural Wales. The only things infront of your car will be sheep!

I'm afraid i'm not Welsh, so that prospect doesn't do anything for me ... Besides, sheep make dents too!

Welsh is easy, ask Evo. Just add "boyo" to the end of everything, and you're Welsh!
Also, who cares if your car's dented.
A) That's what Bull-Bars are for, and
B) Lovely Lamb-chop for dinner :E

You should have flattened him.

No.. I think he did the right thing.

With violent people / the criminal element, its always better to err on the side of personal safety, escape the situation, and live to fight another day.

Not worth the trouble.

It was sarcasm. Hard to catch it via text. :(

I always assume the majority of your posts are to be taken jokingly

You should have gotten out, typed ch_createjeep in console and gone home.

As I do yours. But all of that is negated in the Politics forum.

A dent in your car? It might make it look better, made my car look better when I kicked its rear driver side door.

Man, sorry that happened to you. Glad you're all right.

Zombie Carjacker: Grand Theft ARRRAGGHHH?

Damn crazy people. Where you live, anyhow?

oh so that was YOU trying to run me over, eh?

I was just trying to keep you from running over my mother effing baby!

...jk :)

I keep a katana in my car for weird instances like road rage and car jackers. Nobody ****s with a guy who's got a katana.

I'm gonna get a katana holster on my bike...
*imagines the possibilites*

If a guy tried to pull that on me, he'd likely get Mozambiqued faster than he could say "My Playstation made me do it!"

Yeah if I ever get arrested for something im just gonna be like
"My playstation made me do it, arrest sony!"

I live in Huddersfield, right in the middle of the UK mainland ... although thanks to our unique and ****ing clueless government, criminals walk the streets of the entire country.

Argh, crazy people. I still cant believe the guy. I guess if it happened again, i'd do the same...

And dizzyone - don't be mean, my car is lovely. i love it <3 ... you're just jealous, admit it.
