i've never had religious education at school or anywhere else, but i'm quite certain that he isn't a proven historical figure, he might have existed, but he certaintly didn't do all those cool magical things that fanatics say he did.

Heres the way I see Jesus:

He was born in a manger, people did believe him to be the son of god. He was raised by people telling him he was the son of god. Naturally he believed them since he was told that his whole life. He didn't actually perform any miracles but he was an all around nice guy and tried to help people as much as possible. In reality he was not the son of god but he as well as everyone around him believed he was, then he died.

Thats just the way I see him.

Atheists are outrageously outspoken and usually resort to insults. Plus they are almost always annoying punkers. Some christians can do this too of course.

PS- The old Testament is just a book of moral values , words to live by. Treat your neighbor right and dont be an asshole.
