New BF2 Screens.

BF:V has extreme performance issues (still for me in 1.2 even)

And I have a 9800 Pro, 2.0 GHZ, 512MB RAM

However, BF1942 I can run at full details and everything without a performance hit. I think BFV took a hit from the jungles. This doesn't look like it'll need to process a crapload of plants, so maybe it'll run somewhat better in comparison.

On foot feeling of CS:source, with all the other mayhem of BF series, that would be a blockbuster.

Not just the Jungle Tenjin, but also from the buildings, player models, vehicles, everything almost. I have a pc similar to yours and 50 player games are impossible at times :|

I think the e3 videos looked far better than the in-game shots they are currently showing.

After e3 I was really looking forward to this, but after seeing the latest shots, I'm not so sure.

Well, I'll just have to see when more media comes out.

Were the E3 videos shakycam? I remember alot of people's graphical expectations of HL2 were shattered after they saw non-shakycam footage.

yeah when i saw the movies it looked really good.
but these screens dont look any better then bf:v :/

Im really looking forward to this but i cant help thinking that this might be Desert Combat all over again...

Well Desert Combat was awesome, so I wouldn't mind that, as long as it has all the improvements they're talking about. :D
And "lag" is not a fundamental issue. I don't know about anyone else, but on a decent server with a decent comp I don't see absolutely any problems in BF42, nor have I for at least a year now. BF:Vietnam can be faulted, but thats due to poor technincal creation, and isn't intrinsic to the series. They are trying to fix it, but one flaw in one game in a series does not make a fundamental flaw.
