New Halflife2 video? UK PCGamer

Sorry if this is wrong, but PCG UK this month, put a blink HL2 video on their Covercds.... you stand in a gloriously dynamically lit decaying loft, and step out, walking on a walkway, looking at the rusted sun-reflecting rooves of City 17, and then you walk over to this HUGE alien.... and look at it all around, it looks great.

I haven't seen the E3 vids, or anything really... so I would like to know if this is real... it's called 'Hi end dynamic rendering technology' or something like that

yeah, that's an E3 vid or at least a video released earlier by valve. Yeah, and the video shows off some roof textures and cool wind tunnel sounds. Yes, this is High End Dynmaic Rendering

Yeah there is a DivX video on fileplanet about it, been there for a while. I believe its called DX9 High Dynamic Range Rendering. Pretty cool stuff...:bounce:

Yeah it's one annoying property of this board that if a question come up there are usually about 6 posts in the time it take you to type in the answer.

It inevitable on a board this busy though.
