New 24 min. video of the entire demo trailer here.
Looks even better than i had thought from the pics and descriptions. It gives you a MUCH better idea of how the gameplay works as opposed to bloggers trying to describe it.
what the hell is Heavy Rain?

Wow. All in-game supposedly as well. I don't doubt it given what has been said about this game behind closed doors. Hopefully it will all be revealed in Leipzig. I love adventure games and if Quantic can clear up the problems people had with Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) then this is going to be one of the most unique adventures around!
Check these out:
am i the only one who doesn't think the graphics look that good? they're definitely above average for next-gen, but go look at Crysis. just sayin'.
Retards, watch the 24-min video of the demo and then tell me its just another run-of-the-mill console game like Dead Rising or PC game like Doom 3 that brings nothing new to the table. :rolling:
His face looks really familiar. I can't place it. An actor. Makes that same expression.
...but I take it back, these new ones are awesome. It seems like the only really noticeable uncanniness remains around the lips and teeth. Her face might have a ton of detail and pretty waterspunk on it, but it's still glisteny and plasticky looking enough to put it firmly in the uncanny valley for me.
Was thinking the very same. You know you've got some great facial tech when it starts making you play 'who's that actor?'.Take the hair off of that last guy and you have John Locke of Lost. Still some uncanyness, but impressive none the less.
It looks great, save for the hair. But then again, hair would be very difficult to get photorealistic.
Is "second half of 2009" good enough for you?So do we have a release date yet?
You mean, um, polygons?****ing straight lines.
