Why are some of the lambda logos black and some are orange?

If it's orange, you have to make a post that has less than 20 words.
If it's black, you have to make a post more than 20 words.
If it's orange surrounded by 2 blacks, you have to make it both less than 20 words but it also has to be two sentences.
If it's black surrounded by two orange, you have to make a post with more than 20 words but only one sentence.
If there is a sequence of [black] [orange] [black] [black] , you must post in the last black section and use the word "hastily" at least twice in your post.
If there are more black icons than orange, you are not allowed to post at all.

Nice alternatives Dog, I'll put them to Munro for consideration. I do prefer these myself.

You do have some stiff competition from Digi though I'm afraid.

Idea: Kill the orange.

I like 'em right now but instead of glowing orange glow an icy blue to match the forum color scheme. (get the **** rid of tan)

I hate the Status icons. I can't tell which means online or offline, therefore I have to look at my status to tell.

yay, i still have the old icons, good thing mine did not change as I found it hard to get used to the new one (checked the new one via iexplore, mozilla does not update until you press ctrl+f5, i wonder why..)
