In general, what would you like to see in games that haven't been done before. We're finally seeing these hybrid type games come about with RPG elements that are just making a new selection of gaming more widely available but at the same time gamers never had so many options both from the hard core crowd and casual markets. You got every genre covered these days and many could say that games are starting to pile up left and right in stores across the globe that are becoming rather same old same old.
What I'd like to know is, what ideas should be implemented that haven't come to fruition yet. It might be an idea that got briefly touched in one game you liked as a kid, or something you've rarely seen in todays games.
I'd like to see some High Def motion technology take place in the battlefield. Lets say with the game MAG (kinda meh looking game btw), I am the medic (assuming they make that role) and my friend is the soldier class. He get shot in the neck and his blood sprays everywhere onto my helmet and gun because I'm right next to him. Do I shoot the sniper first, or do I drag my friend around the corner and using the motion sticks heal and dress his wounds just like in Trauma Center?? I think that would be an amazing feat and I wouldn't even have to leave the couch or stand up like most people end up doing with the Wii. It could be both realistic and fun without hurting gameplay at all because the hardcore guy could be playing with the casual dude and both are having fun.
Also not too many games feature the blood and guts as Soldier of Fortune once did or games like Gears of War when you chop someone up. In battle there is a lot of blood, pools of blood and honestly I'd like to see a little more gruesomeness that makes you feel queezy.
Any ideas from you guys??
