New Metallica Singles

My friends told me their new album is called "death magent".

lol

EDIT: I'm not gonna lie, though, my apocolypse is... ok.

wow...

So, ehh.. Anyone see any good movies lately?

the song titles are like something from a shitty emo band. but the songs are actually pretty good. and metallica is always metallica, even on a bad day they're better than most bands.

My Apocalypse was terrible. The Day That Never Comes is listenable and at points actually enjoyable.

I don't get people post if they don't like the band and the type of music =[

Because I was curious if I'd end up liking them or not :p

I liked the first, the second was very meh.

Because after St. Anger and their self-titled album, they've basically been shit.
They're not metal anymore, they're basically just another rock band.

I used to listen to Metallica quite a lot and I love some of their older stuff, but this is meh :| Like they ran out of ideas.

All the new songs are awesome, can't wait for september 12!

I've been getting pissed off at all the jackasses that are saying that the new album sucks, (Even though they have not heard all of the new song, and I doubt Metallica will release more before the album comes out.) and then they proceed to complain about the small things, the solo wasn't long enough, or they should have change one word, and it would apparently make the whole ****ing song better. If you're not going to cheer Metallica on then you are not a true fan, you're just an ass. This is a step in the right direction, and still 400 times better than St. Anger as we've already heard. The guys in Metallica are 40 years old, and by now all that teenage angst and rebellion has worn off. They're not going to be quite so metal. Lay off the guys. I'd like to see any of you hold up a thrash metal band even as far as Metallica got with the Black Album.

^Members of Rush are 55, 55, and 56, yet they still make music very similar to music they made when they were 15-20. :|

Metallica are still bigger than Rush.

Hell yes!

I don't care how old they are, no one in their right mind could possibly have thought anything on St. Anger sounded good.

I liked St. Anger. Good album.

My favorite Metallica album was probably the Black album. Grew up with one of my best friends while listening to this as well as other bands of the time. :D

I don't really stay current with any of their music anymore though. It's just not the same as the Metallica I grew up lovin'.
For example, 'Turn the page' was done better by Bob Seger imo and I hate it when bands I like remake songs from other bands I like.

It saddens me Metallica resorts to unoriginality. A sign that the band in question is in it's death rattle.

^agree

And Justice for All is the only album from Metallica that I 'really' liked. Black Album is good too.

Listening to any of their albums for a long time makes me flip out though. It gets redundant.

It leaked, it's ****ing awesome. :) Bob Rock really was ****ing things up all this time.

i'm listening to it right now... Not really listening, just putting it on and doing other stuff.

the one song that stood out right away was Cyanide. easily better than anything on the last one.

Yeah the album actually came up much better than I was expecting. I absolutely love "The End Of The Line". I liked it back when it was the "new song", and I'm very happy with the new voice and lyrics. I also love the Judas Kiss and Cyanide. I actually love abour 6 or 7 songs from the album, and thus is very worth a buy for me.

I hated unforgiven III for some reason, I couldn't even bare with it till the end, but I'll give it another go sooner or later and maybe it'll grow on me.

I must say, I'm very happy with death magnetic

Heard a few songs, some good, some bad.
