New ranks once again?

I see a new rank, "Buillsquid," so.. what're the new ranks and post counts needed to get them? :)
 
Im low post count kinda guy, so i get the newb rank!
 
If you sort the Memberlist on postcount, you get some weird stuff. Like:

Tredoslop
Strider
3,383

Shuzer
Manhack
3,339

Letters
Strider
2,301

Strider-Manhack-Strider.

Yep after a lot of demand I've changed them so even if you have a high post count you still need to work to get a good title :) If people are still showing old titles it's because they haven't posted yet and updated the database.

better than before. I'm never gonna get cockroach added as the lowest rank am I *sulks* oh well they look good, but should we let the public know, they might spam :)

Hmmmm, I notice scanner has been placed quite highly, so has manhack. I would have thought an antlion guard would outrank a TV camera with wings, but thats just me.
 
Think about it :) An Ant Lion Guard is a powerful creature yes. But a scanner is able to call in 200 Combine gunships and dropships full with Combine soldiers :D
 
I think "Combine Police" should be Metrocop.. but that's just me

Yeah, but then it's the other creatures doing the fighting. Plus you'd have time to get away. A scanner might be useful (for the enemy) but it's really just a camera for use by other things.

Sorry to keep being disagreeable, but I also think the manhack is placed too highly. They were dispatched quite easily in the tunnels video.
 
I have changed Combine Police to it's official title :) Sounds too much like a subway ticket collector though :p
 
I agree with Shuzer and I think Scanner is far too high never mind manhack which you have to fight about 10 at once with a crow bar.

the reason i said nw909 is cause he's the 1337est post whore ever!
 
in shanghai we call the subway a metro, they have metrocops here they are all short little chinese dudes with anger complexes...i couldnt bring myself to play HL2 if everytime i killed somehting i was like ... wup..plugged another metrocop.
 
Who cares about the Scanner being above the Antlions? What I'm confused about is why the Hydra is less than Assassins, all of those puny Combines, Scanners, and even Manhacks! I mean, what the hell? It skewers a combine and throws him around like a toy. It sounds, to me, like it should be up there just below the Strider (or at least the Gunship).

I'd say if anything it discourages post whoring. This just makes me give up any hope of ever being high-rank. Meh, like I care.
 
Can't I just stay a hydra through the 3000's as well so I don't have to be those pussy-ranks?

At the one of the forums I used to go to the first rank you got was, "SDF!". Later I asked what it stood for and learned it meant, "Some Dumb Effer". Anyways this new ranking system is just a product of the man trying to keep us in our places in his unjust social caste system that stifles intelectual thinking and individualism.
 
I like the new ranks, good thing you guys changed them, they needed a bit updating.
