Yea, it happened today. There has been a similar shootout to Columbine at Finland.

Some boy that was idoling Hitler and Stalin and was disappointed to the current country system we have here, started acting weirdly at school and soon started shooting. 8 people died and many were injured of broken glass and bullets. This happened somewhere at 11 AM GMT +2

The killer died at hospital...

His YouTube channel was closed where was alot of some material of he shooting and video about "7/11 School Massacre". He also told that he is on war against this corrupted government of Finland and that he kills everybody he sees unappropriate person, like Hitler did.

This is kinda weird as it isn't America this time. Finland was awarded as the less corrupted country of the world in Guiness World Records book.
 
Read that like 10 minutes ago. Couldn't be bothered looking for a similar shootout thread, but as soon as I read it, I thought, heh, maybe it doesn't only happen in America, referring to a recent thread.

I guess "it" has to happen everywhere at some point.
But then considering the number of shootings in America and England, I don't think that it's really that much of a problem.

Actually it has been said that 7 people are dead. The news are going crazy around here, and nothing is actually told. But they cant say that some people are dead until their parents see the bodies, they would be shocked to hear that their son is dead in the radio.

OH ****. Did any of you guys notice hes basically worshipping codename 47 from the hitman series?? Damnit I can already see the media jumping all over this, as again another proof. There was a shooting in ohio I believe not too long ago, Im suprised noone posted here about it. But then again the guy was an epic fail since he only wounded people and didnt kill anyone, except himself. But it was blamed on the media cause he shot himself with a Marilyn Manson t-shirt on.
 
Christ. This is horrible. I wasn't expecting anything like this to happen in Finland. How can you even get a gun.

Also, mchammer, shot himself? It hasn't been confirmed he's dead atleast, the police have even stated that he might be one of the 'victims' transferred to the hospital.

I misread that, I thought you had just said mchammer had shot himself... I was close to tears, then I saw the extra comma in there.

Heh, what a psycho. I've seen a few threads about the guy in /b/, apparently he posted a thread proclaiming his motives an hour before the shooting occurred. Not sure if it's still about, but it reached up to 400+ replies so I'm assuming it may have been legit, but that would completely go against the disclaimer...

Regardless, my sympathy goes to you Finland. Your supposed to renowned for death metal, not shootings :(

Kid was photographed dead wearing a Manson t-shirt, Im suprised most people never heard about it for that reason alone since its another excuse to show how violent music/movie/games destroy morale blah blah. Although he was only 14 years old. Damn.

Ok, there are 8 people confirmed DEAD. And many people injured.

This killer shot himself to head, but wrong point that he didn't die. Currently he is at hospital, but there isn't very much chances left that he would survive.

And since I said "here", I mean Finland.
 
According to a press conferance by the finnish police, 8 people are dead including the headmaster in the school, 12 are wounded but only with minor injuries from jumping out of windows etc. The shooter is in hospital in critical condition with a head wound. I hope he doesn't die and survives as a half vegetable with incredible pain for the rest of his life.
 
It makes me feel very weird looking at his list of youtube videos or that 4chan image...

Man this is really strange looking through youtube seeing all these people talking about naturalselector89/sturmgeist89, and his manifesto videos. Its all deleted now, which I guess is good but I am interested in reading through this guy's account. I cant imagine what it must be like to be someone who actually called the guy names on youtube before he did it. Or the 4chan guys. sleep well assholes. Anyways I know we have some finlanders so did anyone know anyone who went to that school? Anyone in that area? This is tragic. damn 8 people.:\

Aside from that I just can't understand this guy. He says he's going to start an revolution and tries to justify his acts with natural selection. I got the image that he tought he was some superioir human (looks retarded to me, sorry) etc.

He talks about natural selection, how are his acts based on this if he shoots himself? Maybe he tought that he wasn't fit to continue?

Then the revolution and political side. His idols are Hittler and Stallin. I haven't read much of that 1000 word long thingy he wrote. But how the heck can he make this a political matter if his only motives seem to be random killing because he feels like he's a superior humanbeing?

And at his diary he says not to blame anyone else than him. Well he got that right, stupidity cost the lives of many, ruined lives of even more, just because of someone decided to start a random manslaughter. I just fear that this case will make other idiots follow him. So incase of that I'll give you a good hint. Start doing the things that happened in Jokela high school from the end. First shoot yourself and then think of your revolution and natural selection.

This is sad, as usual. To do something like this you either have to be too stupid to understand what you're doing or you have to be a sociopath. This kid strikes me as the latter, although skimming over his manifesto here (which I'm planning on reading in detail later) it seems like maybe he had a bit of the former going on too.

Only in Finland. (note my sarcasm)
