New Screenshots [Gamershell - NOT SCANS!!!]

If the mods consider a link to gamershell to be "illegal" and delete it, well, they seriously need to lighten up.
 
Unfortunately, that may not be as legal as it looks. We'll see if PC Gamer contacts them.

EDIT: Darkstar, if they got the screenshots off websites without PC Gamer's permission then it is illegal. The site can't allow links to sites like these anymore than they can allow links to warez sites.
 
Man, gamershell is going to get it from PCG UK...

Maybe they got permission?

Whenever i see those screens vampire the masquerade comes in mind, what a great engine source is, cannot wait!!

Yeah I saw those a while back... didn't know if it was "legal" or not so I didn't post it, but it's a just a link to another semi-legit site so I guess it's cool.
 
hey, anyone notice the floating text "Sa" in the zombie on fire pic? It's near the zombie's stomach...

looks incomplete..maybe the zombie is singing Say You, Say Me? lol

Or more likely, the shot was taken right after hitting the "save" key, and the text fades in. On second thought, your theory sounds more likely. :)

If you zoom in, it says "Sav" and a very faint e. This is just them hitting F6.

They appear to be from origional files that would have had to have been released by Valve. Unless PC Gamer leaked the files themself, I seriously doubt there's anything wrong going on here.
 
Barney has designer stubble! Cool as f**k! I also like the toasted Citizen, although it does remind me of Doom 3 somewhat. And that black guy with the body armour loooks superb as well.

These are actually ALL ripped from the PC Gamer UK HL2 review magazine DVD. All these screenshots, as they stand, are exclusive to PCG UK, and unless you buy the magazine, are illegal. These weren't supposed to be on the web, only on the DVD.

GamersHell will probably be getting a nasty note from PCG UK any time now..

She looks more Asian. And more aged. I think the extra detail makes her feel more realistic.

And before the mods jump to any conclusions, these screens appear to be on a professional videogame website as an article. Whether they're approved or not by Valve is another matter though.

Now, the combine helicopter and combine APC have similar constructions / style, so it wouldn't suprise me if an additional vehicle looked similar.

They're similar, but it doesn't appear to be quite the same. I could be wrong...but....

Hah! no it won't happen. I think they have better things to do than get sucked in petty lawsuits. They already got the exclusive on the first review I don't think they care about who's going to steam some jpegs from them.

Yeah Alyx is not the virgin princess we all envisioned.

She's now a hardened biatch, experienced in the ways of combine slaying and resitance fighter stress relieving. She rides them hard and leaves them sobbing for me.

Virgin princessess are such boring characters. I prefer the wrinkly man-like of appearance of Alyx now .....hahaha.....that even rivals the aged attractiveness of Mossman. OH **** YEAH!!!

I love the dropships/gunships whatever, how they carry the striders, and the blue flame, the outdoor/indoor lighting, the tower going thru the clouds, the vgui, powerlines, all the tiny details

dead body on the chair is pretty sick

These screenshots won't be up for long. Gamershell doesn't have permission from PCGamer. Apparently they didn't even ask, nice eh? :|
