I found this a little scary:

Project for the New American Century

statement of principles said:
"The history of the 20th century should have taught us that it is important to shape circumstances before crises emerge, and to meet threats before they become dire. The history of this century should have taught us to embrace the cause of American leadership."

we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values

we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles

America has a vital role in maintaining peace and security in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. If we shirk our responsibilities, we invite challenges to our fundamental interests.

Some of the members of this group:

Dick Cheney
Donald Rumsfeld
Jeb Bush
Paul Wolfowitz
Dan Quayle

it all sounds like a global domination maniphesto to me. The thing that troubles me the most is that the members have the power and influence to make this happen. What do you all think?
please refrain from flaming. This thread is about The Project for the New American Century and it's members it's not about bashing the US.

You left me out of the group, and my name should be in bold, italics, large print and red (just so you know I'm the leader!)

Anyhow, this sounds highly unlikely and extremely unplausable. It's a NPO, does it even have any ties to any of the said people? :| (Understand, the site was so blisteringly ugly that I couldn't stand to read but one sentence)

Where does it say those people are members of the group? I found one page where it listed there names, but does not give any information on the details of their affiliation. It just looks like any of another hundred NPO's that think they know how to solve everything.

Danny Quayle... sounds familiar... isn't he that guy that can't say anything without ****ing it up somehow? :p

Holy shit that made me feel old. Yes, Dan Quayle used to be vice president under Bush Sr...lol.

itz about time the usa took over i mean we are the moral athority of the world and the most powerful by far. its our obligation to take control and lead the rest of the world. just look every problem in the world is cuz people go against the usa like the arabs. if the usa took over the world would be much better.

No it wouldn't. A one-country rule is never a good idea because sooner or later it will go evil (it is a moot point that this has happened already). Plus, if the USA took over places that don't like it, there would be no peace there, just constant chaos and fighting from the anti-US groups. We in Europe can maintain our own peace, as can Asia and, admittedly to a lesser extent, the middle east. It is not your obligation or your right to take over any other country simply because you think it will be a better state of affairs. How arrogant must you be to declare that your country is the only real 'moral authority'? A country that used toxins and chemicals against innocents in Vietnam (not that they should have been there in the first place) using funds garnered from drug trafficking in nearby Laos, funded violent revolutions in a load of South American countries before installing brutal puppet dictators, and, in many people's view, a country that invaded Iraq without any proper reason thus angering the anti-American locals. USA, moral authority? Don't make me laugh.

Of course, it may have been a joke...still, if it's not then Infiltrator has made me laugh for all the wrong reasons.

Maybe the New American Century should ask everyone else if they want a new world order first. Obligation, indeed.

heh they dont exactly hide their intent, that website is there for all to see. Unfortunately for them they had some unwanted public exposure when it came out that they had been planning the iraq invasion years before bush came to power.

Doesn't anyone knows about the Total Information System and the Echelon Program?
They are already in control. You just don't know about it

from your link it says there are some influential people concerned about the Total Information Awareness program including Al Gore. I wonder what this world would have been like if Al Gore was president

worst.

It would've been worse if Gore was on control on 9/11, but now we aren't voting for the past, we're voting for the future, which seems to be the thing Bush supporters can't stand
